23/4/2008 07:57 | Major reason for this being oversold was major instituition selling, now the overhang is clear...and LSB will reveal its going forward with its restructuring program.. or there is a rumour of approach by cattles.....this will be rerated accordingly | ![]() quraishim
23/4/2008 07:52 | seems to be 14p or there abouts... also yesterday, it was positive from the off...just gaining momentum as the day went on... | ![]() sportbilly1976

23/4/2008 07:43 | nick today is AGM.......so all will be revealed, 125% rise does not happen as joe bloggs are buying on a whim. | ![]() quraishim
23/4/2008 07:37 | Reading through Cattles announcement today I think its pretty clear they have been in detailed extensive talks with LSB about a takeover this year. They spent 3m on due diligence and legal costs. Wonder if there are any other bidders lurking and also wondering why the hell the board didn't see fit to inform shareholders. | ![]() nickcduk

22/4/2008 22:12 | If they have the unsecured division under control and can sort out Capital funding resonably quickly without loosing the family silver 24-24p is attainable. A few disposals as well and this could fly to 45p or more year end. | ![]() robizm
22/4/2008 20:41 | Wow Hect .... that's not very rampy of you LOL | ![]() ihavenoclue
22/4/2008 19:53 | 22-24p by Thursday night IMO. | ![]() hectorp
22/4/2008 17:51 | Davius - They are due to update on unsec lending strategy tomorrow (that was in the finals) - also press reports (Daily Ex) say talks advanced for selling the Invoice Discounting unit (I posted the text of the article above, it seemed well sourced imo) so we could have a sale there.. I would expect some news on the FSA capital requirements - it's half the reason LSB found it's share price going down the pan. The company is already exiting lending leaving RW as the core focus going forward - RW makes good money which I can only see improving - MK is low for the story going forward thou 100% a day share price gains although welcome are I guess a 1 off, but 6 months time 30/50p if it ain't snapped up before then. IMO I expect some director buying in the next few days, once past the AGM | ![]() grlz
22/4/2008 17:22 | Davius my break level is 17p after averaging down I was tempted to sell but couldn't press the button, should have learned my mistake from the MOB days | ![]() waynz
22/4/2008 17:18 | Santafe, I invested in LSB back in November 05 at 73p but didn't hold for long. Exited for a small gain following a profits warning. They've been on my watch list ever since, needless to say very glad I didn't hold as I'd still need them to rise another 540% to get my money back ;) £15m pretax in 2006 to an £18m loss last year. It all went a bit Pete Tong. | ![]() davius
22/4/2008 17:14 | CN100, not really relevant after the close as it would just show a few orders (there were only three or four left on either side of the order book when I shut down my level 2 program). I'm slightly confused by this rise, as anything relevant to the share price can't be held back and disclosed at an AGM. If they've made a deal then they have to report it, unless it's not complete (i.e. not signed off yet). It would surprise me if anything of substance came from the AGM. Well worth checking for an RNS first thing or just before the AGM though. Market cap still under £20m so still plenty of potential, particulary after the retrace from 18p. | ![]() davius
22/4/2008 17:10 | Missed this one like most traders I guess. Never heard of them before thats why I missed out. | ![]() lord santafe |
