Klopp has to rotate the squad with 2 games a week last week and this week. Happy to see others get a chance. Especially Lovren benched - just not sure Klavan is much better. Also pleased to see Gomes included. Much rather see young defenders learning from mistakes over the likes of Lovren making the same mistakes over and over again.

Hate to say it but man Utd are looking very good, they will be the team to beat this season. They look well balanced with plenty of depth - Jose certainly knows how to put a team together Strange team selection today but I guess the next two hours will tell!

Have to be optimistic today. Palace being asked to play the ball around the back with defenders uncomfortable in possession. Liverpool with a high press could benefit...

Morning Abix, yes another season, where August/September are full of optimism, Oct/Nov full of faith, Dec/Jan hope, Feb/Mar clutching at straws and Apr/May, looking forward to next season.

JB is an idiot of the highest order. Klopp though needs to sort the defence. Conceding from set pieces happens but it is criminal to have Firmino protecting the middle of the goal from a corner. It is also a crime not to jump. You may have no chance of reaching the ball but you have to jump as you might 'nudge' the attacker or simply block their vision of the flight of the ball. Standing there like a muppet isn't acceptable. The only midfielder who can sense danger defensively was sold and we have no replacement. Strange.

And his win ratio over those 100 games is a big fat 50%, but like he said when he arrived, trophies & the PL in 4 years....lol

Can't really argue with JB there. Like Carra said, what the hell have they been working on in pre season, nothing has changed!

We qualify for Europe and sign one first team player when the squad was already far too thin last season and we weren't even in Europe.

Klopp is becoming as stubborn as old Wurthers Wenger here. He's had 100 games now and the defence is an abomination.

Yep. They seem to get away with the same mistakes over and over. Lovren not good enough. Migs not good Enough. Klopp seems ruthless with some (sakho) but not others. Seems strange. How does Coutinho fit into the squad again given the treatment of Sakho?
