Definitely nothing to worry about yet bowlhead. Selftrade won't cough up until at least early this afternoon for example from experience and many others will trickle in over the next few days. Wonder who'll be the slowest payer....

I don't see it yet on my accounts at TD Direct or at Sippdeal/Youinvest ... hopefully later today as I guess we're not really in business hours yet.

Always nice to see the dividend nestling in the account for LLPC :-)

I would guess rise may be due to pi's fleeing the Lloyds ECNs due to the LME, and reinvesting here?

Thanks very much for your prompt response, surprising that pi's haven't taken it up previously. trinders

Trinders,
Refer to the prospectus - link in the header.
4.625p every 6 months. Pages 21-24.
I have no idea why there is a strong price rise today.

Paid half yearly xdiv 5/5 7/11 according to my records.

IMHO rise due to more pi's abandoning bank and bldg soc'y deposits for things like this.

Can anyone tell me the dividend dates, and amount? Why has it risen by more than the coming dividend? Thanks in advance, I've searched, but found it difficult to find this info. trinders

Rather bizarrely, I've received LLPC but not LLPD. I'd have expected them at the same time.

Anyone know if:

"Lloyds Banking Group plc gives notice that, on 29 November 2013, it redeemed all of the outstanding USD 423,815,000 7.875% Non-Cumulative Preference Shares (ISIN: XS0406095041) and the Euro 173,350,000 7.875% Non-Cumulative Preference Shares (ISIN: XS0406095637) (together the "Preference Shares") at their par value.

Lloyds Banking Group plc will apply to the Financial Conduct Authority, in its capacity as the United Kingdom Listing Authority, to cancel the listing of the Preference Shares on the Official List of the United Kingdom Listing Authority."

Can be applied to these preference shares?

We'll know tomorrow but the prospectus says that payment days are 31st May and 30th November so I don't think they will pay earlier. I'm expecting mine on Monday.

My belief is LLPC shares are ring-fenced such that their value cannot be affected by any of the toxic debt inherited from HBOS, making the dividend payout a dead-cert now that Lloyds Bank have returned to profitability and the issue of PPI has been 'sorted'.... But then I am an optimist....

Thanks for your input, it is greatly appreciated.
