Some contra opinions which is good. All discussion BBs should be for that very thing dicusuuion it is highly regrettable that the majority here are still back in the Stone Age and want to throw rocks at anyone who sisagress with their often myopic views.


It is reasoned that UK oil are still in the oil business. Logically then so too is the Lion primarily a gold miner. The Lion has three arms, Indian., Finaland and GOLDBLOC plus whatever is in the pipeline, therefore it could be satisfactory reasoned for regulatory purposes ....Lionsgold is still a gold miner others may disagree which is how they make their money.




Rule 14 is relatively clear when there is a fundamental change or business... But fundamentally Lionsgold remains a miner and if Finland and the ol' Kolar field come in as expected we will still be gold miner/prospector with a rather substantial block chain currency division which will probably be sold off at some very near stage in business progression. ......quite different

One thing remains very very clear in my eye and that is if Parry fails to deliver and blows this he is FINISHED IN THE CITY.


So here too could we actually be finding a Change of class, not a change of business, bearing in mind that a growing concern goes through many differing phases in order to get where it wants to be!

Wrtmf......i also thought it was a little suspect.HarvaRule 14 is clear.A fundamental change or business... from gold prospector to block chain currency ......quite different.Ukog went from oil prospector and investment to oil producer.Change of class, not business.

With thanks to a poster on another Lion thread please look st this and also please recall, those of you that can actually read that is, that I meantioned my suspicions here that there was no need for Lionsgold to have been suspended. Just think about how badly mauled the share price would have been this summer if we were still listed and PARRY EVER INSISTIng on play his Prima Donna role to the T


So the news is UKGD is changing status without suspension so what does that say about about the Lion?

'UK Oil & Gas Investments PLC (London AIM: UKOG) is pleased to announce that it intends to change its trading status under AIM rules from an Investing Company to that of an Operating Company. The change of status will be implemented following publication of an admission document and obtaining the requisite shareholder consent. The Company expects to publish the related status-change circular and admission document before the end of July 2018.'
