Oh look, DEMG is going up and LID is going down. Anyone with half a brain knows that the valuations should be reversed and it seems it may not take that long before we see that come to pass.

Is the point that you need to be a PhD to be able to pretend that bad numbers are good, and to be an accountant to point out that bad science is bad?

That's a simplistic statement. A PhD in History might not help.
By the way Mr Sorrell who built WPP into a big ad co is an accountant.

Expect LIECO will say "oh dear, we've been rumbled" and they will feel bitter and cross and sad and one or two of them maybe just a little bit sheepishBut they will be much happier in the long run when they work out that they no longer have to try so hard to tell tall tales to keep up with the big boysBack to the second 'Arf of evensong for me.
