Yes, once IBS get a website, they'll be valued at 500m.

Maybe the groudbreaking news will come from IBS, it should be worth at least 100m by now after exploding in value from from nothing to 10m in a few weeks. Afterall they have been scoping deals in the 100's millions for about a year now.

I just wonder if Karim used some of that 375k that went missing in manas resources to fund his recent 100m purchase of LEG in the placing. Where did he get a spare 100k from?, it certainly wasn't from his salary. Perhaps the expense account or his share of the 1m placing that he had stolen from shareholders in 2016.

Bad news from John Lewis. Perhaps vs isn't the cure.

Looks like one of the cornwall gang of 1 waded in at the open today and splashed out 200 quid on this.

It's groundbreaking off the coast of Tunisia .
( a small oil field located offshore in the Gulf of Hammamet. Elf discovered the field in 1977 but the heavy oil and small reserves meant it was deemed uneconomic. )

No ripples here though.

Sloppy RNS

Additionally, COTL intends to acquire a significant amount of new seismic over the licence area; the tendering for which is expected to be completed by the end of 2108.

Even Zaf should have this sorted by 2108 🍉

I just want to check. Is this the ground breaking news that we were waiting for?

In essence, today's RNS is not about an unlisted company. It is about LEG holdings that have changed. This is why it should have been announced long ago.

Paul, the main point is that it is of material interest to LEG, so should have been released back in December. Some would question whether he has been delaying announcements till after the placing which he took part it. Not so much Zaf doing more PR, but Zaf doing the job he is paid to do.

I think anyone that is a chum of potplant, for that very reason, cannot be labelled as intelligent.

Desperate, misguided, prostitute springs to mind.

Note how the spivs positioned themselves late on yesterday, by cutting the bid to 0.09p?

They just do not want concerted and sustained buying, and although you can pick up the stock for 0.10p the advertised spread is designed to put off buyers.

As is always the case, the spivs know what's to come here eventually, but further out the sheer amount of buying interest will force their hands.

david,

if this is GOOD news why aren’t your intelligent chums buying the stock?

Alex MacDonald profile summary:-

An excellent man to have at the helm. I particularly like the bit about "he has many business contacts, established over the years, at political and government senior level".

Also, take a look at his specialities at the bottom of the article.

And you can buy the whole of LEG for under £4m?

Summary

Alex, has 30++ years City and business experience in Investment Banking and Corporate Finance, engineering and oil & gas.

Much of his early business life has been in the O&G sector upstream at international level particularly in Africa and the Middle East. Between 1975 and 1985 he worked for, Brown & Root, Otis Wireline, Algosabi, Atlantic Drilling, and in the North Sea with Conoco, and Chevron.

In 1995, as part of the post privatisation of the British coal industry, he and 3 other partners acquired the entire engineering facilities from British Coal, which he ran for 3 years, when it was successfully sold to Lloyds Development Capital. Since 1998 he has been involved mainly in private equity investments, and has held a number of non executive directorships.

Soup, I think this is him being closer and more transparent to the investors and providing updates on non listed companies. You’ve done well with your research but I think it’s a good move on his behalf.

A bright and jocular good morning to all genuine LEG holders.

Another positive RNS (bit earlier than was forecast at the Cornish Summit - I think that was alluded to VS), but more good news to tuck away here.

So, let the trolls and detractors do their worst. Zaf is positioning LEG very nicely indeed.

Seriously undervalued, we should at least be double the current sp, and a hell of a lot to come over the coming weeks and months.
