IMO the prof is right to cancel his ADVFN subscription. Why they allow people to point out that his RNS predictions are lies is beyond me.

Phil - thanks for that.

But, the easiest way is just to go to your local bank and scrub the dd or the instructions to take the money from your card.

Then send them an e-mail afterwards. Another way of them screwing people who can't be bothered.

I'll shall check with my bank when next in town and decide then.

I must admit the live streaming prices are very useful when wanting to view multiple stocks, but aside from that there doesn't appear much benefit in being "blue".

I've banged on for months to them about the banning of other "blue" posters but they won't play ball, so it just plays into the hands of the dross trolls.

They'd never get away with any of it over at LSE but I'm not that keen on the price facilities there.

I did exactly as required to cancel and received a confirmation from ADVFN that my request was in order and noted.
This did not prevent their deducting a further year's sub from my credit card.

Downgrade/cancel your subscription

Please give us a call on 0207 0700 961 or send notice of your wish to terminate or downgrade your subscription to ADVFN PLC, Subs Dept, 26 Throgmorton Street, London, EC2N 2AN. Make sure to include your username, full registered home and email addresses and subscription level to be downgraded to (if appropriate).

15. TERMINATION

If you have a monthly subscription contract, you may terminate it by giving ADVFN not less than 30 days written notice prior to your next monthly renewal date.

If you have an annual subscription contract, you may terminate it by giving ADVFN not less than 30 days written notice before your next annual renewal date and ADVFN may do the same.

In order to terminate, you may notify us by telephone at [phone] or post at ADVFN Plc, Subscriptions Department, 26 Throgmorton St, London EC2N 2AN.

Don't forget - to cancel ADVFN subs they demand it in writing (not just an email) well before renewal date otherwise you will get "done" for another year. Won't be renewing myself this year.

I think my sub is renewed at the end of March, I'll check it out.

I suggest anyone who decides to revert from blue to black, also sends ADVFN an e-mail describing their reasons.

There are probably quite a lot of people here who want action on these scum trolls, but haven't the balls to do anything about it.

Hitting ADVFN in the pocket is at least one way.

There have actually been TWO tick-ups today. The initial buying promoted a move to 0.11/0.115, then a swift move on the offer to 0.13p.

The usual MM ploy to deter buyers when interest reappears.

I've had numerous arguments with them over the previous, about why they don't allow "blue" premium posters to ban other "blue" premium posters. They are impotent and hopeless.

The only reason I remain a "bluey" is that there is no interruption to live streaming prices, but there are other ways of getting them.

It's something I will have to seriously look at.
