Soup - I must ask.

Are you here to continually be on the bear tack, attack Zaf and maybe have an agenda?

If you are a holder, then you seem to be a very unhappy one.

If you are not a holder then why bother posting here?

You don't seem to want to espouse anything positive about VS and/or IBS.

Paul, Zaf has been in this position since 2010. As you say he's not into heavy industry. Lets look at his record.

Since that time he has...

Bought into Amedeo Resources (was Creon) - Made himself CFO of Amedeo Resources.
Bought into Terra Energy
Bought into Medgold Resources
Bought into Minas Minerals
Bought into Sula Iron and Gold.

Clearly he is a man who is not comfortable with resource stocks.

ps. Have to admit I love Zaf's linkedin profile where he says "Zafar revived Legendary by raising capital (with minimum dilution to shareholders)"

2010 when he took over LEG had 735,167,198 shares in issue.

Now there are 3,044,636,893, so only and increase of 2.3bn shares then.

In addition, I don’t think heavy industry was his bag at all. He had to learn about mining etc... very quickly. I always thought when he came into Leg he started cleaning up the portfolio to try and come away from mining companies. There are a few left but technology and banking will be his big wins.

Soup, vs was Zaf through and through. One of his interviews with Zak covers it. No we, no him, I found VS. He’s totally transparent on camera and he’s being genuine.

Zaf would have still had to have ok'd it soup.

He will eventually prove all the doubters wrong.

VS was Thomas Reuners influence in LEG, Zaf doesn't have anything to do with tech stocks typically.

Zaf is more into resource sector, hence Reuner has a stake in VS but not anything else that Zaf has a stake in.

Why buy in then? Zaf actually is well known in the City, has been around long enough. Picked a massive future winner in VS and is going to surprise a lot of people with IBS.

Hang on in there turbo, we aren't far off what people have been waiting a long time for.

Lol nocky!

Turbo - just have patience. Of course I'll be right one day!

But seriously you've been around here long enough to know there is a massive amount going on in the background, especially at VS.

We have updates from our other holdings to come, the IBS licences and permissions RNS to come, plus exciting developments going forward at VS.

Its all to come, and all to look forward to.

Hi again Brian - yes they did have a reconstruction some time ago now, it's quite an amateur state of affairs if it's been allowed to go on that long.

You'd think the big cheeses would be demanding a few heads roll in the IT dept.

Perhaps they need the direct help of VS to get them going!

Trouble for them would be that if it's not sorted pronto their clients will just leave and find another broker. It's obviously in their interests to get it fixed.

hi Prof, they launched the new platform about 6/8 weeks ago and haven't been able to trade new money since then. I'm probably not as knowledgeable as you in these matters but seem to remember that Beaufort either went bust or were involved in some kind of financial reconstruction about 10 yers ago, so I wouldn't be surprised if they are more prone to being investigated by the fsa at the slightest whiff of financial risk to their clients?

Morning david,

will you be directing your claim for negligence against the financial advisers who advised you to invest in LEG?

I understand your financial adviser may not have fully informed you of the risks and suitability of investing in LEG.

Just wondering like.

Has anybody heard of the problems that Beaufort, Leg's house broker are having with the FCA? It seems that since their new computer platform was installed 2 months ago clients have been unable to deposit new funds for trading which may have had an impact on whether they can purchase Leg stock. The FCA are crawling all over them like an old coat and my gut feeling is that beaufort could be in serious trouble, maybe time for leg to change broker?
