For what it's worth, I have or am attempting to make my peace with "michaels".

May I recommend a dinner party for Prof and michaels. A candle light dinner perhaps? It would be just fab to see you two bury the hatchet.

Lol! I appreciate it's quite frustrating for all at the moment, and yes you are right sid it's news we need, especially from VS.

I just cannot move from the optimistic position though that so much must be going on behind the scenes and that when the news flow starts it will not just be very positive, but there will be a lot of it.

As I said, we've been to these levels before and languished at them for some considerable time, but we didn't have the prospect of VS becoming a very valuable asset then, so I firmly believe the market has mispriced LEG.

All will be revealed in due course.

I too think the expectation if a 1p party is highly unlikely.

What will get the juices flowing here is good news about VS. Aint no licence in NZ, or 50% rise in one of our small holdings that will make a jot of diffence imo. I would think the licence is a formality, and the hard work and raising of capital to get the thing up and running is the next hurdle.

No, VS is the key here. Beeaufort could indeed be right, and may end with a valuation of £240m, on listing on Nasdaq, it may be double of treble that. However, today, its worth £66m, and the surge in new clients isnt causing a stampede.

An AMZN or Siemens could pick them for a song, and VS would rather acquiesce that complete against them.

I still only have 750k left which wont make me or break me, but so much needs to go right for us shareholders to get a ticket to the .3p party, let alone the £1 orgy!

The lack of buying and ongoing supply is not the most bullish signal known to man.

Eezy - actually having given it some thought, I don't ever recall saying those other investments are worth £5m.

If I have then it was a genuine mistake. What I have said however, is that our stake in VS alone is worth £5m and possibly a lot more now, but we await news.

Beaufort have valued us at a target price of 0.7p but they continually refer to a valuation of VS as around £240m, about four times the value of £66m which was recently referred to.

I think what you are going to see is a sharp rise in the share price here between now and the end of the year, and that is based on (a) IBS getting the necessary licences and starting to operate out of New Zealand for starters, (b) the take-up by the rest of the NHS of "The Edge" from VS, and (c) announcements from VS of further contracts in retail and details of it's expansionary ambitions overseas.

Don't forget this stock has languished at these levels for quite a while before, but that was before VS, and before VS started to perform when we acquired our stake.

I appreciate your input but I firmly believe that LEG is seriously undervalued by the market.

It's moribund days like these that are the perfect opportunity to accumulate more stock.

I'm trying to help. Talking yourself into believing an investment is great is a dangerous trait. They are nearly all capable of losing you money. At the very least surely you should try to keep it real rather than just (apparently) making up numbers...

EezyMunny - then don't read it. You are fully entitled to subscribe to the "serious and moderated" LEG thread - although when I last looked in there I could find nothing "serious" about it. Just a one-groove record saying there wasn't an RNS as predicted by some know all who knows naff all.

And if you want an explanation for my figures, then I suggest you read in full the research that Beaufort have put out on LEG.

Why don't you come back when we reach 1p?

Prof, you say "We have interests as you know in other companies. Throw in another £5m for those". How do you justify that comment vs the numbers from the company?

"As at the year end, Legendary holds a 5.5% stake in Manas Resources, with an option over an additional 4.45% stake, which are held on its balance sheet at £100,000. In addition, working capital has been provided to Manas of £259,000 which is included as a non-current receivable."

"As at the year end, Legendary's stake in Amedeo was valued at £43,000."

"Legendary has a substantial minority stake of 40% in Bosques that it holds on its balance sheet at £83,000."

"Legendary invested in Medgold at its inception, before it was listed. Medgold has now been listed for several years, and as at the balance sheet date, Legendary's stake was valued at £39,000. Medgold is considered a non-core investment."


The sum of those is £524k, so are you seriously suggesting they are 10-baggers one and all in the making!?

You seem to be attempting, for reasons that elude me entirely, to create some sort of super-positive thread on LEG. As the share price sits about where it was 18 months ago is there really any point in this strategy? Your tone helps, IMO, nobody. Not new readers, old readers or yourself. VS is quite interesting but it's just a software company currently valued at what, c. 12x revenue? It may not end up being worth that.

Much better methinks to have a more grown up thread about LEG. Bull and bear points. It's utterly painful to keep reading your endless stream of dreamy positivity.

Fully agree KK - but as Zaf has said on many occasions, he can't dispatch an RNS until there is something to tell!

Just a question of waiting I'm afraid, but I'm pretty convinced that we'll get quite a lot of news in a short space of time very soon.
