It's this sort of thing that does everybody a disservice IMO.

"If I held a 100 million shares here I'd do all I could to push the price up as that is the nature of investment!" ie you'd write any old rampy drivel in endless pointless posts?

How about "If I held 100 million shares I'd welcome constructive bull and bear posts so that I could weigh up risk/reward and decide whether to sell, hold, or add".

I cant think of anything worse than a thread where only bulls post.

Far better to read sensible negative points and discuss them in an adult manner than read thousands of posts of mutual back slapping.

It is a fact that this share has fallen sharply in recent weeks, mainly because warrant holders have been selling. Most bulls of the stock are already fully invested, so until new buyers come in, or positive news is released, the supply/demand imbalance is probably bearish in the short term.

The day this rises 20% or more is the day its bottomed, as the mms will know the usual source of supply has gone.

That, pretty much, is what I am waiting for. Happy to miss the absolute bottom, but buy into a new rising trend with confidence ideally.

Good post Mickluv.

I'm afraid ADVFN is riddled with trolls with many usernames trying to disrupt sensible discussion for motives only they know. There is also a number of posters who pretty much fall into the category who go around posting on many different BB's with only negative comments about various companies that they "say" they have no interest in. Some are at it 7 days a week....... Why one might wonder and I'm afraid the reasons they often give are in my opinion less than honest. Spend 7 days a week goodness knows how many hours posting a negative view on companies and trying to discredit any positive outlook !

Good balanced discussion, views and debates by posters who have a genuine interest in a company is welcomed of course.

The market clearly wants to see an update on progress in particular VS. I remain confident that VS will deliver and then we will profit accordingly. Of course that remains to be seen if that is the case but only time will tell.

Apart from the NHS, VS has contracts with several big blue chip names and the last one John Lewis only adding to the list of well known names. Someone posted yesterday that after the NHS there could easily be other government departments, agencies where contracts could be won.

I believe we are undervalued but only time will tell if that is the case, the trouble is so many AIM investors get very impatient for news and often consider lack of news as bad news and that is not always the case. Very often a wrong assumption.

If I may join this debate? I do my own research and as an investor who'd only ever put money into a share if I felt bullish about it! Otherwise what's the point? I welcome the bulls who bring news to support their opinions but I'm fully aware of the pitfalls of investing in AIM or any listed companies for that matter! So it's not something I need a constant reminder of! The moderation of people here in my view has been done to try and protect the thread from complete idiots who appear to just want to destroy objectivity and assassinate the character of many! If I held a 100 million shares here I'd do all I could to push the price up as that is the nature of investment! To the same end if every company was a unicorn then we would all be millionaires! It's all about balance is it not? I welcome the input of any genuine holders and believe that these boards should only be available to people who actually hold shares in any of the companies the threads pertain! That would weed out the nonsense wouldn't it! I also enjoy the optimism of most who post here as a holder I want to see my investment increase so why wouldn't I? GLAGH.......

Well, we'll wait until a couple of blockbuster RNS's then, and then comment further.

I can see VS being valued at a significant multiple of its current valuation in the LEG b/s, prof, if implementations OK, deals based on % of transaction revenue, staying ahead of competition (hard!) etc. And I can see it being not worth very much at all.

Nothing wrong with being bullish, but the stream of bullish posts, with zero new content is utterly painful IMO - and probably doing more harm that good to the share price :)

For me the big question is the nature of the NHS and other/future contracts. If it's just an SAAS model, perhaps not so exciting, but if VS get a percentage of transactions processed the potential is clearly very great - if they can get the thing up and running. Will be interesting when we finally get to see a P&L.

No Professor.

It would be good for any bulletin board to discuss the upside and downside, so that a good opinion of risk/reward could be formed.

The upside for LEG/VS is discussed ad nauseum here. The downside brushed aside.

As of today VS is a small company for which we can see only a balance sheet (rather weak!) at companies house, and no P&L (we have no idea!).

Almost all of LEG's NAV at y/e was VS (£4m), implying at value for VS of c. £57m. That's a meaty valuation for a small software company.

As I said before VS may go on and prosper, but the downside is clear too - implementation problems, cash flow problems/possible dilution, competitors etc.

It would be great if the daily "VS is the bees" type posts would stop, and posts restricted to any new news or insight. Sadly that's not the MO of ‘authority figures’ who feel the need to keep pumping out irrelevant and always positive posts. You only have to look at CTAG to see what can happen when BB's get infected with that sort of thing.

Thanks for the wise words philmeboots. To get another angle on this you might want to follow VS, Rob Knott and Legendary on Twitter.

Any ‘authority figures’ on this board that we should be wary of, do you think?

As an aside from LEG for a moment, I have just had long discussions with the IT dept at ADVFN who inform me they know what is going on, and there is a hacker on the boards.

They are certain they know who it is and legal action will be put into place with any further indiscretions.

If you are experiencing any problems report them immediately to advfn.

Sid - we are all looking for up to date information. One of the reasons for the recent fall in the share price is that the roll out in the NHS has been delayed. But, it is being sorted out, so it's no big deal. So, we await news on other fronts, and interest here is increasing.

Still 3 to go then before we move into years :-)

Across many companies events, deals take longer than expected, just ask the MIN shareholders :-)

Very interesting video on tip tv, thanks.

I was interested to hear the ceo talk about VS potentially being rolled across other Government depts, like defence.

Perhaps I dont understand the product enough, but I very much doubt producers of aircraft carriers and nuclear bombs put their prices up via middlemen!

That aside, I was stagerred at the numbers spoken about re: the Shelford Group/NHS.

Its a shame the interview is 9 months old though, as I was looking for something more current.

I have no doubt that VS has awesome potential, but am slightly concerned about lack of recent news. The ceo said new contracts should be announced within months for the NHS - that was 9 months ago.

It's all too easy to just focus on the share price but focusing on the market cap which is the value of our company, £4.6m, is hardly demanding for the potential looking forwards at just VS and of course there are the other assets even if at present they are not producing any news to give us added value.
