29/3/2017 08:35 | Morning sam. Very well put, still got to let the children out of the nursery sometimes. They don't appear to have a brain cell between them. Meanwhile over here with real debate and comment we all look forward to continuing progress. | ![]() professor pettigrew
28/3/2017 23:52 | Another one for the trash bin. Good riddance Beeks. | ![]() professor pettigrew
28/3/2017 23:51 | That really is no way to speak about Beaufort securities and their latest note on legendary investments with their upgraded target price. | ![]() lendmeafiver
28/3/2017 21:46 | Don't forget as well as his shareholding in LEG, Zaf has a few million of his own money tied up in VS, so it's in his interests they do well, as well as ours. | ![]() professor pettigrew
28/3/2017 21:43 | KK - yes, that's my favourite outcome. I reckon first though, they will want to maximise the number of contracts they can get under their belts first to make sure that if they do float, the price offering is the very highest they can achieve. Of course, it's all conjecture, and may never happen, but it must be on the cards especially as VS are now set to grow exponentially. A float of course would also facilitate growth overseas as well. If one thinks about the Beaufort valuation of VS (£240m) and our stake is worth around £18m then their 0.7p new price target is about right. But of course, as more and more companies (and the NHS trusts) use VS, and they get contracts further afield, then Zaf's play on the possibility of it being a "unicorn" (£1bn+ valuation) then comes into view. It could be that we are sitting on a potential 20-30 bagger eventually. I appreciate nothing happens overnight, indeed news flow is at a premium of late, but it's all slotting into place, piece by piece. | ![]() professor pettigrew
28/3/2017 21:09 | The share price is news driven presently. And I feel Zaffy is a bit dearth on that front. I would love to get a handle on what monies are generated by VS deals to date and what is in store. Regarding the three possibilities why wouldn't VS go it alone as they have a very intelligent board with a flotation in their sights . | ![]() kemorkid
28/3/2017 20:49 | Sounds good to me guys - bring it on ! | gottopickapocketortwo
28/3/2017 20:18 | Very comforting to have three possible outcomes. That's without the luxury of VS securing further contracts. | ![]() professor pettigrew
28/3/2017 19:37 | Agree, 1) being the least likely, 3) very possible, 2) most likely, in my opinion. | ![]() lendmeafiver
28/3/2017 18:57 | lendmeafiver - 3 scenarios in my opinion. 1. VS reverse into LEG. 2. VS get taken out by a bigger player as you've said. 3. VS float on the stock market making LEG's stake more valuable than now. Any of those three could happen, and who knows if any one of them hasn't or isn't already being discussed? | ![]() professor pettigrew
28/3/2017 18:31 | It wouldnt surprise me if VS gets purchased by a bigger player who can accelerate the growth globally | ![]() lendmeafiver
28/3/2017 17:02 | In fact a reasonable day all round. Some decent buying interest, a couple of tick-ups, and as tini5 said the 20dma is about to move above the 100dma which is a bullish signal. News Ahoy! | ![]() professor pettigrew
28/3/2017 16:54 | Yup, if you take Beaufort Securities figures as correct, they value VS at £240m, therefore our 7% stake is worth roughly £18m.. About three times the current mcap with our other interests basically thrown in for nothing. And those figures, just after the John Lewis deal, without taking into account any other contracts either retail or NHS. And it's not just the NHS or retail. I did read somewhere "The Edge" can be utilised in other forms for government departments, prisons, libraries etc. I have a very strong hunch that one day we will get a complete blockbuster RNS, not just more contracts but something very game changing. One day, the market will wake up. | ![]() professor pettigrew
28/3/2017 16:27 | Agree, it's certainly gathering momentum at VS, orders and transactions can happen extraordinarily quick in that sector, 7% must surely be worth more than the current £6m market cap. | ![]() lendmeafiver
28/3/2017 15:14 | In any case, no need to be afraid. You'll be amply rewarded for your buying. | ![]() professor pettigrew
28/3/2017 15:06 | Nice one lenmeafiver. Keep it up, and you change your moniker to lendmeatenner. | ![]() professor pettigrew
28/3/2017 14:45 | The 550k was another one of mine I'm afraid, but your right it's a buy | ![]() lendmeafiver
28/3/2017 14:43 | 550,000 - a BUY. | ![]() professor pettigrew
28/3/2017 13:08 | There is to be "A major announcement on the future of the NHS" this Thursday, by the head of the health service. Could it just tie in with an RNS re more trusts implementing "The Edge"? Just a thought. | ![]() professor pettigrew
28/3/2017 13:00 | Usually is the case tini5. The buying momentum is picking up, that's a start. | ![]() professor pettigrew
28/3/2017 12:47 | As I always state - I'm no chartist.. But, the 20DMA is about to cross the 100DMA moving upwards, a positive signal that we're about to move to an upward trend. | ![]() tini5
28/3/2017 12:41 | gbenson1 - fully concur with the "mms want your stock" bit. That's probably why they've been trying to fox us for the last couple of weeks with a ridiculous quoted spread, even though the real buying and selling prices have been much tighter. | ![]() professor pettigrew |
