PHNX is good for income too - Divi is fat and looks safe - it's more a pure play annuity/closed book consolidator - it's got reasonable growth prospects which are not priced in the sp

Yep - you're right - IMO likely to retest March on a no deal, bad tempered, brexit Could be an epic row back from today's announcement - would hardly be first U turn

"but of course the share price will still tank and retest March"

There's no 'of course' about anything - if there was we'd all be very rich.

I'm holding of adding - still stunned at the government saying they'll break international law Looks like they are actively going for no deal With no deal LGENs divi should (I say tentatively) be safe - but of course the share price will still tank and retest March

OK I bought some. Probably going to live to regret it as never meant to catch a falling knife.

Decided to have another tranch myself. Hopefully I've bought myself a massive yield for many years to come, as my average buying price well under 208p now.

What is reassuring is that there are substantially more buy trades (look at the price). Unlikely, yes, but I can only imagine that this is somehow being manipulated down for large insti's to buy in. It otherwise makes no sense.

haha due to the divi am not that bothered but it is outrageous that a quality stock like LGEN is priced to fail.

I'm happier with the aviva prefs - reassuringly boring made less boring with a little margin

Still in profit here after buying at the March / April lows. but annoying that a dog like aviva is up today whilst we are down!

500k buy - share price being manipulated down for these sorts of trades? Difficult but possible.

A little perspective for you - I was in and out of here, very lucratively, between May and June when it was rangebound. And then it went above the level I sold at, so I left it alone, rather than buying back for more than I sold for.

Only now is it coming back on to my radar - so it is only coming back to its May/June range. Could be worse.

Not yet bought in but thinking about it, along with BARC - similar story for me.

Anyone know of any news? Further sell off on no news seems to be a constant theme for LGEN these days.
