20/10/2019 19:53 | BlackfoxTrading 3. The company is granting 1m shares in condition of the share price hitting £1.50 /£1.80 respectively over a 30 day straight period hold. Great find, have you got a link, please. Are we expecting a trading update soon? Investors Chronicle is rating it as a "BUY" so expect big things to be on the way. | christh
19/10/2019 12:27 | Jeff Nothing wrong with the business model But what is the business WORTH? 130p, 100p or 75p ? | phillis
18/10/2019 20:24 | I'm hoping for a nice surprise blackfox!!The three points you made are the reasons i bought in here again. | johndoe23
18/10/2019 19:46 | yump, (#1557) I'm not a fan of EBITDA either, but nor am I a fan of statutory or 'adjusted' P&L accounts. The bit that really interests me is cash. You can do all sorts of things to show a 'profit', but you can't hide cash - it's either there or it's not - so I expect a genuinely profitable company to display positive cash generation. I came to LTG from RWS - a successful and continuing long-term hold - because of the Andrew Brode connection. RWS have a spectacular record of growth by acquisition in which acquisition costs are paid off by positive cashflow in very short order and LTG looks to be following the same MO. Looking at the last accounts for the half-year (which also give a pretty comprehensive and clear explanation of the differences between the statutory and 'adjusted' figures), Net Debt in the period to 30/6/19 stood at £13.9m (but after the acquisition of Breezy for $12.7m) and by 31/8/19 Net Debt stood at £7.8m. This is a virtuous cycle which these 2 companies seem able to achieve time after time. I am a happy holder. | jeffian
18/10/2019 19:41 | What I find interesting is if this share price is on its way down, why has the following happened? Could anyone make sense of? 1. Brokers are forecasting minimum £1.40 2. Non Exec Director increases her portfolio with another 271,646 shares at £1.14. 3. The company is granting 1m shares in condition of the share price hitting £1.50 /£1.80 respectively over a 30 day straight period hold. Are we expecting a surprise? | blackfoxtrading
18/10/2019 18:15 | I've been looking at this for a while, but the concentration on EBITDA has put me off so far, as it causes a huge difference between adjusted and statutory earnings. Has anyone got an opinion about the adjustment due to amortisation of intangibles. As far as I know, they are intended to reflect the using up of assets, just as depreciation would. So in theory they have to be renewed at some point in the future, just as machinery would. Which is I presume why they are included in statutory results, because cash will be required at some point in the future to replace them. So this business of deducting large amounts based on amortisation of intangibles and then reporting adjusted earnings as the headline, doesn't sit well with me. Nevertheless its been at high p/e's for a quite a while, so perhaps that is a better guide to the value the market places on it, whatever is used: adjusted or statutory. | yump
18/10/2019 13:42 | Long here but chart not looking good... | johndoe23
18/10/2019 13:26 | I'm a buyer at 25p | longshanks
18/10/2019 12:06 | I think it will be well into 2020 before we see any meaningful rise here, possibly on the back of an acquisition. Could easily re-visit 50p before then. | blackbogger
18/10/2019 11:11 | I think 80p before a further rise.... | drsamwaa
18/10/2019 10:13 | Certainly not looking good at present. Could this be heading back to 63p? | blackfoxtrading
17/10/2019 14:44 | Ever the optimist Christh | drsamwaa
17/10/2019 13:40 | Great opportunity to buy at these cheap prices. I am patient enough to wait for the price to rise to 165p by the next quarter at least. I have accumulated a few ....so whenever the target is met.I am not in a rush. | christh
17/10/2019 13:27 | Il wait for the update in January. | blackfoxtrading
16/10/2019 19:35 | Yes, macro economic factors can kybosh any share price in the short term. Business looks sound to me, rising profits, revenue and divi. Definitely more scalable.A question of patience!! | johndoe23
16/10/2019 16:52 | Interesting.... well I’m now an investor in ltg and have purchased a decent chunk. Let’s hope for the best. The business seems sound so I can’t imagine a drop Incase a major collapse in current / future plans. | blackfoxtrading
16/10/2019 16:34 | Yes, trading in a range 106-112p. The longer it trades like this, the greater potential breakout there may be. If any!Certainly news of an acquisition would help. Or dare i say a takeover?! | johndoe23
16/10/2019 16:28 | Current pattern if any seems to be pretty deliberate. Is this a good or bad sign near term? | blackfoxtrading
11/10/2019 07:35 | Best AIM companies of 2019 named here by Andrew Hore from interactive investor | 27th September 2019 15:25 Best Use of AIM ------------------ Learning Technologies (LSE:LTG) has done something similar to these two companies but on a much larger scale. Learning Technologies was valued at around £25 million when Epic reversed into In-Deed Online six years ago. It has become one of the top 25 companies on AIM by market capitalisation and full-year pre-tax profit will be well in excess of its starting valuation. | christh
10/10/2019 18:27 | what was it Bob Beckman used to say regularly? " when the range on the day is greater than the change of the day it is headed in the direction of the range point" In this case 104p and then who knows | phillis
10/10/2019 15:06 | correlation not causation if it transpires! | toffeeman
