28/11/2019 13:12 | On the 22nd July the trading statement said ,I quote.......STRONG SALES MOMENTUM WITH ERIT MATERIALLY AHEAD OF EXPECTATIONS.This statement still stands | leona306a
28/11/2019 09:54 | Thanks Buddy. Looking into it seems to be doing nicely. And yes I also noted that it expects to beat market expectations. | adealsiddiq110
28/11/2019 09:28 | Adealsiddiq110 Welcome to Ltg, this is a high growth stock and has been over 165p in the past. The company has made a few acquisitions and is a global company. Look at the latest trading update, which they said the results will be above expectations. I have a large holding which I will not sell as I hope to be my pension nest. I do expect to be around 250p-300p next year as the growth both organically and by acquisition will increase their earnings and their profits. Do you research and then make up your mind. | christh
28/11/2019 08:30 | Christh, I sold out on my boohoo and have just started looking at this share now.Looks interesting. If you can help with any background please DM me, understand if it not possible as life is busy and time is money. | adealsiddiq110
28/11/2019 07:59 | I think the trend now has changed and we are moving higher. Might get to 128p tomorrow and next week likely to end up at 135p. | christh
27/11/2019 19:46 | We know that LGT are looking at possible acquisitions, principally in the USA. I just wonder if that might extend to Sopheon,(SPE). It would take LTG into a new, but not remotely different, area of business involving ‘enterprise innovation management’. And it’s temptingly lowly valued. | aimingupward2
27/11/2019 17:45 | Could go anywhere as its a share. I'm riding it forever or until trend breaks | davr0s
27/11/2019 17:05 | Revival. 165p my target price but it could overshoot and hit 180p. Profits are soaring, business is booming and new acquisitions on the horizon. | christh
26/11/2019 20:01 | Clearly. So why not her spouse, SIPP or ISA? Either way i am not sure why folks are implying some gain from the transaction (other than tax)? | petercgordon
26/11/2019 17:18 | "I have zero actual knowledge - it is just a guess." A wrong one, unfortunately! Re-purchasing shares within 30 days of sale negates the gain/loss and the 'new' shares are deemed to inherit the same cost as the old ones. If you've "been doing the same", then you haven't established a gain or loss unless you've done it via 'Bed & ISA', 'Bed & SIPP' or sold and repurchased in your spouse's name. Anyway, it says "bought and sold" which, I assume, indicates the order of the transactions. | jeffian
26/11/2019 17:00 | Has it occurred to any of you that this might be the Ned in question simply crystallising a capital gain? A Corbyn govt may be a low risk but if he does get into power then 45% CGT would prevail. Since the shares were repurchased on the same day then the only potential loser is a marxist govt. No net sale, just prudent tax planning. I have zero actual knowledge - it is just a guess. I have been doing the same. | zouppy
26/11/2019 14:08 | IF it was a result of exercising options, there wouldn't be any change to her existing holding, would there? She would simply buy at the option price and promptly sell at the market price. I wasn't specifically talking about this transaction, Phil, just to note that in fairly regular 'newsflow' via RNS, a pretty substantial proportion is about granting shares/options to themselves! | jeffian
26/11/2019 12:53 | Why a Buy and Sell for a large holding with NO net change for this non ex. Director...just a technical switch between two accounts...WHY? The share price reacted with some alarm at the time of the announcement, but that was very temporary when investors realised it was just a large "wash"...ie. No change. | cyberian
26/11/2019 11:20 | Would rather an RNS stating an earnings accretive acquisition!! | johndoe23
26/11/2019 11:15 | jeff it doesnt say that options were exercised but? | phillis
26/11/2019 11:00 | Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of this company and have a reasonably substantial holding but am I alone in feeling slightly irked that every time I click on a new RNS it seems to involve them issuing shedloads of new shares to themselves or pocketing the proceeds? This looks like nice work if you can get it - | jeffian
21/11/2019 18:22 | I do so love contributors with such an elegant use of the English language. | tarrant777
21/11/2019 15:45 | "Usual punter rush". What the hell does that mean. It's astonishing that people have time or the inclination to post such rubbish. | tarrant777
21/11/2019 12:43 | usual punter rush | phillis
21/11/2019 12:10 | Breakout above range of 115.8p possibly?! | johndoe23
21/11/2019 10:35 | Two substantial 25,000 shares buys have gone through in the last few minutes. Somebody really wants these! | aimingupward2 |
