Issue of Equity

 

On 4 October 2024, The Law Debenture Corporation p.l.c. (the "Corporation") issued 800,000 new ordinary shares of 5 pence each at a price of £8.91 per share under its block listing facility; these shares rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue. The issue price equates to a premium to the net asset value per share at the time of the relevant transaction. Following the issuance, the Corporation has the ability to admit a further 11,035,000 ordinary shares under its block listing facility.

 

As a result of the issuance, the total number of ordinary shares in issue now stands at 132,589,904 and the total number of voting rights in the Corporation is 132,589,904. There are no shares held in treasury.

 

The above figure of 132,589,904 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they may determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change to their interest in, the Corporation under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
