31/1/2020 13:26 | The way I look at it is as follows. The city ar unhappy with aly and their past management that have done moves like buying the Singapore building etc etc. So now if the Aly board meet the city they have a young team, The new lady, bosses son as H&M and the new cfo, which should help. dyor Edit A little nibbling on the offer at 3p now. | srpactive

28/1/2020 14:25 | Barbour to collaborate with Laura Ashley for AW2020 BY TOM SHEARSMITH -27TH JANUARY 2020 Barbour Laura Ashley AW2020 Heritage and lifestyle brand Barbour is collaborating with British label Laura Ashley for the first time, for the Autumn/Winter 2020 season. Barbour selected two distinctive wildflower floral prints from the extensive Laura Ashley archive and applied them to a capsule collection of wax jackets, complemented by an exclusive range of knitwear, dresses, blouses and accessories reflecting the signature style of both brands. Paul Wilkinson, Global Marketing and Commercial Director at Barbour said: “Both Barbour and Laura Ashley are renowned British heritage brands with a shared love of the countryside. The prints we have chosen from their archive perfectly complement our clothing to create a contemporary lifestyle collection that is both elegant and functional.” Vanessa Page, Head of Fashion at Laura Ashley, added: “Our shared values and vision of classics with a twist perfectly suits the collection and we are proud of the way we have brought some of our archive prints to life in a new and exciting way.” The collection will be in stores from the end of July 2020, with the full range previewing shortly prior to release. Last year at Laura Ashley, the label swung to a loss as a continued decline in its home furnishings business and changes to its website weighed on sales. Barbour however defied the gloom in the fashion and retail market posting an 11% increase in sales to £225.1m. | knowing
