Dublin and London – 28 May 2020 - Providence Resources P.l.c. (PVR LN, PRP ID), the Irish based resource development company (“Providence” or the “Company”;), provides an update on the second tranche of the proposed investment in Providence by SpotOn Energy Limited (“SpotOn Energy”).

As announced on 6 April 2020, SpotOn Energy invested £300,000 into Providence as part of the recent $3.3 million fundraising and committed to invest a further £200,000 within six weeks of that announcement.

SpotOn Energy experienced some delays in closing out the necessary arrangements with its consortium because of current working and travel restrictions. However, the Company is pleased to confirm that is now in receipt of £200,000 in respect of the second tranche of SpotOn Energy’s investment.

Providence Resources has therefore issued a total of 6,116,208 new Ordinary Shares (the “New Ordinary Shares”) to Spoton Energy at an issue price of 3.27p per New Ordinary Share, the closing price on the London Stock Exchange on 21 May 2020, the date funds were originally expected to be received from SpotOn Energy.

Accordingly, application will be made to the London Stock Exchange and Euronext Dublin for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and Euronext Growth. It is expected that admission to trading on each exchange ("Admission") will become effective and that dealings in the New Ordinary Shares will commence on AIM and Euronext Growth at 8.00 a.m. on 4 June 2020.

The New Ordinary Shares will be issued and credited as fully paid and will rank in full for all dividends and other distributions declared, made or paid after the admission of those Ordinary Shares and will otherwise rank on Admission pari passu in all respects with each other and with the existing Ordinary Shares in the Company. The total issued share capital of the Company, as increased by the New Ordinary Shares, will be 841,514,060 Ordinary Shares.

Following this second tranche of the investment by SpotOn Energy it will become a substantial shareholder in Providence Resources owning 26,116,208 Ordinary Shares, representing 3.1% of the enlarged issued share capital of the Company.

The information that Delboi discussed with Stale Fjelland is already in the public domain. Pap should try spending €5 on a subscription to The Currency to see Fjelland's quotes before concocting insider dealing conspiracies.

I spoke with the CEO of SpotOn Energy group yesterday evening. He confirmed the £200k will be with PVR this week, also sounds like the consortium is now established. Lots going on including separate projects in the UK North Sea. Glad to have these guys on board and I get the feeling the consortium partners will surprise the market. GLA

I'd take that post on the lse PVR bb with a pinch of salt. A very large pinch of salt. DelBoi is a ramper.
Also if it what he posted was true that information would be classed as INSIDER INFORMATION and technically against the law! Information like that would have to be made available to all shareholders at the same time via an RNS. If DelBoi alone was given that privileged information he could make a killing by buying PVR & LOGP shares on the market from shareholders who did not have that information.
Hence DelBoi is either telling fibs, or he's in receipt of technically unlawful inside information. What is it DelBoi?

Before he started ramping PVR & LOGP he was ramping UOG. He seemed to get fed up with UOG and hasn't posted on the UOG bb for a long time.

So there we have the reason for today's rise! A tip by that hopeless tipster and his pathetic charts, Zak Mir! ROFLMAO. PMSL.

Some he gets right and some he gets wrong, because he never uses fundamentals, just his charts. I think he's wrong on LOGP. I think intraday the share price has hit early May's high. It's formed a bearish double top today on my chart, but then I don't base my opinion solely on the charts, like Zak Mir, but go by the FUNDAMENTALS and I believe SpotOn is another APEC. We'll soon find out whether I'm right, or wrong.

5th wave today based on the Elliot Wave cycle. Doesn't look like the share price has got the legs to surpass the peak of the 3rd wave in early May by much, if anything. Will the share price go much higher than circa 0.8p? IMO it all depends on the SpotOn news that's issued either later this week, or early next. I suspect that today's rise is due to gamblers betting on good news, but I believe SpotOn is another APEC and that today's high is as high as the LOGP goes and could soon be a lot lower!! We'll soon find out whether I'm right, or wrong.

Hello Papillon, just to mention, the lowest offer price was .35 - .40p thereabouts. I would be surprised if anyone bought lower. The .25 was just dumping price, and of course the mm's took full advantage of the panic.

There was a bullish flag that developed during the first half of April on the LOGP chart. Chart theory predicted a rise in the LOGP share price around equal to the rise in the share price prior to the start of the flag development. So chart theory predicted the share price to rise to 0.8p once the share price broke out of the flag formation (0.5p + 0.3p) since the initial rise was from circa 0.25p to 0.55p.

I was thinking of having a punt on LOGP a few weeks ago, but decided against it as I don't want to start gambling on shares again by studying charts. The last time I successively did that was back in H2 2018 when I gambled on LOGP & PVR.

Will this rise last? Probably not. We had a rising LOGP share price back in H2 2018/H1 2019 on the APEC speculation, but that didn't last. The fact is that Barryroe was first discovered by EXXON almost 50 years ago, but still hasn't produced oil commercially. Will it ever go into production? I have my doubts!
