Posted at 26/6/2022 13:04 by deltalo Thanks for that, I don't think they can suspend now when the company is under offer, Results can be extended but a firm offer will probably come in before the end of July, The buyer is getting a real steal on the back of the companies short term inadequate liquidity position. Normally when a buyer is interested the share price rocket's but the company said it's at a discount but there's other interested major investors who could get into a bidding war imo. 50m + is bottom line at 10-15p a share. |

Posted at 29/10/2021 14:30 by chin tu fat Funding has already happened. Looks like the market is happy they got the cash.On 28 October 2021, Lamprell (LSE: LAM ) announced the launch of a placing (the "Placing") by way of an accelerated bookbuild (the "Launch Announcement") led by Investec Bank plc ("Investec"). The Company is pleased to announce that the Placing was oversubscribed, and that it has conditionally placed 67,900,313 Placing Shares with institutional investors at a price of 32.0 pence per share (the "Placing Price"). In conjunction with the Placing, certain Directors will directly subscribe for an aggregate of 445,000 new ordinary shares in the capital of the Company (the "Subscription Shares", and together with the Placing Shares, the "New Ordinary Shares") (the "Subscription" and together with the Placing, the "Capital Raising"). The Capital Raising is subject to approval by shareholders at an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company, further details are set out below. The total gross proceeds from the Capital Raising will be approximately $30.1 million (GBP21.9 million). |
Posted at 30/9/2020 16:59 by losses That's not much at all is it? 10k worth. I hold 3x that as a normal off the street investor. |
Posted at 07/9/2020 08:17 by master rsi After the drop late on Friday as the Market panic and with that some investors, this morning the bidding start early and soon 24.30p was the price some were willing to buy in the order book, offer at 24.60p, almost the same price of Friday early afternoon. |
Posted at 28/8/2020 12:39 by stuie It is pain and pleasure, its how the MM s work. Pushing our pain threshold ATM. The spike up just makes you feel worse in the spike down getting investors to sell at a loss.. |
Posted at 28/8/2020 08:14 by stuie The MMs are using the fact that the LTA announcement is way overdue. They have positioned themselves to be ready for a large tick up , but are now using impatience of nervous investors to shake them out. Looks like no support levels are holding ATM because there seems to be no buying pressure at any of them. |
Posted at 06/8/2020 10:38 by bearnecessities I agree re: the institutions and MMs. They are all corrupt, are out for themselves, and primarily out to screw the PI, but then that's always been the case.In terms of the price action, it really boils down to whether you're a trader or an investor. As an investor I would prefer steady gains, with higher lows as time goes on. By Christmas, and providing the company keeps progressing as it has, and winning more contracts, I expect this to be at least 50p.If you're trading it then understand why one would prefer a spikier share as that's the essence of the trading method. |
Posted at 16/7/2020 09:31 by stuie Noticed we were being actively pumped by some twitter hero's giving retail investors so called trading information. Funny thing is the companies quoted tend to move down the day after, trapping retail investors. Please be careful, get sucked into believing people to go long when penny share companies are in a massive 1 year plus downtrend. I believe in LAM but most of these 0.50p companies I would not touch ever. |
