Kubera Cross-Border Fund Limited (the "Company") (AIM: KUBC) was informed on 12
October 2007 that QVT Financial LP ("QVT"), as investment manager for QVT
Quintessence Fund L.P., has purchased 3,438,428 ordinary shares, of US$0.01
each, in the Company on 12 October 2007.  As a result, QVT holds 13,338,428
ordinary shares of the Company representing 6.47% of the Company's total voting
rights.
