Posted at 06/11/2023 07:33 by mortal1ty Never good when CEO steps down recently after IPO. Often a red flag for trouble.Reason is that CEO met all the investors on the IPO roadshow. All the promises and commitments he made count for little now. |
Posted at 27/9/2023 11:45 by igoe104 Most UK investors haven't got the patience to buy and hold shares for long periods, most are momentum investors, and buy and sell what the chart does, rather than look at a companies fundamentals.Too many are just looking for a quick buck rather than Big long-term gain.. |

Posted at 06/3/2023 10:50 by dr biotech Investor meet is a bit of a dry presentation but decent enough. Focus is entirely on small sellers and they sell on availability and service rather than price which is good. Look to cross sell more. Lots of tech involved - website taking more orders. Robotics not yet plannedWest country foods very much a decent company with many people working there for some time. Overall headcount unlikely to rise from current 1500, efficiencies should keep this from rising with any expansion Expansion to outside UK unlikely. Thinks they have an addressable market of 11bn of which they have 500m so no real need. No operation in NI either, likely to remain the case More smaller takeovers likely as they are lower risk and benefit the model Some inflation is actually beneficial - seem to be able to pass it through easily (pay rises were 8%). Possibly more depots. Adding in ambient capabilities may help |
