01/10/2021 10:06 | Now that is a quality idea Jayboy. That is a test of Harry and John, get their snouts out of the trough for the benefit of the project and ult8nayely themselves. They just saw an opportunity to enrich themselves further, they figured Kefi needs them and had no option to agree. Local stakeholders are playing the same tune. Talk about leading by example, Harry AND John have built this deal, they may yet pull it off but they look hopelessly naive after this many years and at this juncture. If they don't get the deal done RAB will probably have control of the company and Harry and John will be gone anyway one would expect. | sweetwaters
01/10/2021 09:51 | Maybe harry and the other director should forgo their 500K each closure bonus and use the money to sweeten the deal for the local investors. He’ll still make loads money on his shares and any options he has. | jayboy4
01/10/2021 09:30 | Not sure what’s more pathetic, HAA’s leadership or my inability to close at a major loss. | fairvalue
01/10/2021 09:25 | Resource was proved up 12 years ago... | deanroberthunt
01/10/2021 09:18 | Lifestyle company, period. | deanroberthunt
01/10/2021 09:14 | There is no problem, Harry is still getting his pay and consultation money. This time next year, you'll all still be waiting for the deal to be signed. LTI's will be telling many, that the moment the deal is signed this will be 1p in an instant from .3p. | katsy
01/10/2021 09:07 | Donegal1997 - I too have long wondered what Harry really does. If he's going to meetings a lot, they remind me of the type I used to attend too much, you know, the ones where much is said skirting around the subject, minutes are taken and circulated later, many sandwiches (or better) are scoffed along with plenty of tea (or better!) and biscuits/snacks. And nowt is ever decided or determined. A new one is scheduled and so on; a bit like his webinars. Why has he moved the current one to 13th October? Because he doesn't want to be having one as the timetable would suggest around end November. Unionhall seems to have explained that to me with the loan maturing then... Btw, thanks for that intervention Union. Your sell at 1.8-1.9p (my estimate based on your post) was inspired. I wish, as do most no doubt (save Goatie possibly who is away with the fairies and seems to like watching this go down with not a care), that I had done similar. If Harry does not update and explain to the market what others (and he himself) are actively doing to bring this latest impasse to a swift conclusion then he is in total dereliction of duty. The market is telling him to twist and bust rather than keep holding. Enough is enough. Tell us, as we should be told, what exactly is the problem and who is dealing with it. Vague is only losing us faith and trust. Topicel | topicel
01/10/2021 08:44 | Aside from all the random figures for a placing that crop up here, and goodness knows what else, it does detract from what we know is a genuine issue, the status of the mining licence after the end of October | rich1e
01/10/2021 08:40 | I'd love to know what Harry has been doing in the past month or so on a day to day basis. Very little or no progress it would seem. | donegal1997
01/10/2021 08:06 | Good timing for mining minister just before the ministerial jobs are given out wonder if we will have the same mining minister next week? | robjm66

01/10/2021 07:32 | Its no tree shake, just a realisation that this is a punt not an investment. | peverill
01/10/2021 07:26 | Tree shakes, not something I’ve made up by the way, are when people make investing decisions based on the price. Decisions they shouldn’t make. | rich1e
01/10/2021 07:22 | On Wednesday, the bid dropped from 1.5p to 1.3p on how many sells jay? Zero. Last autumn the share price went from 2.2p to 3p on maybe half a million in the first 10 minutes. The price can be faked volume can't, as the saying goes. Hopefully the next RNS says that Harry and the locals have kissed and made up. Good day all | rich1e
01/10/2021 07:10 | How can anyone look at the price chart and honestly, seriously believe that sells and buys have been balanced? It's demented, no other word for it, and if you're investing proper money with that little understanding of markets then I'm afraid you're onto a loser from the off. | jaylett
01/10/2021 06:55 | I say strap on and walk away. Come back end of next year and hopefully we be 2 to 3p. | oilisgold
01/10/2021 06:54 | Sad but things are getting worse . Those that listened to the african news yesterday should know the country is on the brink of civil war. | oilisgold
01/10/2021 06:51 | Thats why a placing is on its way. The 1.5million needs to be paid , otherwise kefi will no longer be a listed company. We only have just under 100k left by my calculations. Need to raise 3 to 5million. To get that amount a huge disvount needs to be offered. Hence i think it be 0.4 to 0.5p. | oilisgold
30/9/2021 22:31 | topicel, it is in note 10 of the interim results. £1.5m at 25% repayable by 30 Nov or earlier if funding secured earlier. It will be interesting to see what happens 30th Nov. As an aside I see on Aljazeera that Ethiopia are losing more friends by expelling 7 UN staff this evening. | unionhall
30/9/2021 22:03 | Goatie, you said in post 16,168 : "I doubt if there will be a placing; he has an existing shareholder (perhaps RAB) lending money to keep the lights on. As KEFI is paying interest at 25% p.a. RAB probably quite like it, and are probably prepared to continue; and it is good business for us; provided, of course, that it does not go on too long." Is this factual? 25%? How do you know? Is it not material whatever the rate? I thought the light meter money was attached to shares in lieu at some future date, but I may have got that wrong. The only thing I know is I said it would be 1.3p again to you a few weeks back...and regrettably I have been proven right - or wrong as it has hit 1.1p, lol. HAA must clarify early next week what is going on with this 'security issue' and regularly update the market how it is being dealt with and what implications it continues to have on the finalising of the funding. He is never proactive; always keeps everyone in the dark, almost as if he doesn't mind the share price diving... Topicel | topicel
30/9/2021 19:28 | i bought in despite all the negativity. mcap too low 23m for company that about to move towards production. most companies in AIM are pure explorer and years away from production. war has been going on for many months, so nothing news there, except gvern soldier is actually winning. the "new security" in RNS yesterday basically about local demanding more money - as mentioned in the podcast - should be resolved within weeks. yes, Harry is useless in issueing the correct RNS rather than being dramatic using scary words like "security". and yes, it will be delay, but our share price has been punished more than enough. licence is secure as govn very supportive and they are our shareholders anyway, they dont want this to fail ! so, all in all, we are oversold with mcap tiny compared to our assets despite delay. hence, happy to buy in today. lets see if share price start to improve or once derampers also bought in as well | nash81
30/9/2021 19:15 | It is more than possible, it is factual. The almost concurrent bid/offer movements mask the direction of the trades. Best guide is to follow the money. Price drops indicates lower demand than supply and vice versa. | monte1
30/9/2021 18:43 | Rich1e, It is possible that the Advfn app which decides "buy" or "sell" purely on which side of the mid price the trade falls, is giving misleading results. | goatherd |
