06/6/2021 11:30 | From Kefi Q&A; Q. Why did you replace Ausdrill? A: Ausdrill has gone through an organizational overhaul. Whilst still a great company and good friends, it was no longer the most appropriate contractor for what we had always required - a conventional schedule of rates arrangement whereby payments by TKGM for the mining fleet and its operational personnel are tied to operational performance. Q. How long will it take Corica to get up to speed? A: Corica are already ahead of what Ausdrill was in readiness. We ran this tender over the past nine months and wrapped it up now as we head into finance closing. Q. We cannot learn about Corica as easily as we could about Ausdrill. Can you help shed light on them? A: Corica is a private company but well known to the gold miners of Africa, operating on about 15 sites for many leading gold producers. 05/6/2021 06:12 | TW would criticise HAA openly ONLY After he unloaded his share ! | whu0319
05/6/2021 00:00 | TW is not slow to be critical if it is warranted. | estseon
04/6/2021 22:45 | Cheers Scotty, I wish I was as confident as TW is but I suppose he has a closer relationship with Harry than I do, if that counts for anything. | donegal1997
04/6/2021 22:13 | And does it say how long they take to sign a LOI when being asked to tender? And from that point, does it say how they proceed with their due diligence, or is that a mere bagotel? Obviously they are involved in building mines, so were Ausdrill... As Estseon points out, all who were involved here once have since gone. Let's all hope this group of players will actually play ball to the signing stage and we can see if this share can make shareholders money. After all, that is the 'aim', is it not? 04/6/2021 19:22 | Below is a list of Countries in which Corico, together with the name of the mine and the name of the owner of the mine. It looks as if they are acceptable to some big names - Barrick for example. I can see no reason for doubting their ability. Country Mine Owner Senegal GCO Eramet _ _ Mako Resolute Mali Sadiola Allied Gold Corp _ _ Gounkoto Barrick _ _ Syama Open Pit Resolute _ _ Syama TSF Resolute Cote d’Ivoire Sissingue Perseus Mining Burkina Faso Karma Endeavour _ _ Essakane IamGold _ _ Somita Nord Gold _ _ Boungou Endeavour _ _ Hounde Endeavour _ _ Waghnion Teranga Resources _ _ Tongon Barrick Gold _ _ ITY Endeavour Mining _ _ Bonikro Allied Gold On you can see what they do on each site, and the equipment they use to do it with. | goatherd
04/6/2021 18:19 | I think the reversal today was very likely to have been caused by that rather odd (IMHO) type of trader who follows the mantra "buy on rumour, sell on news". I believe there are quite a few of them too! | goatherd
04/6/2021 17:46 | Thanks, scotty1. HAA is not kicking any cans down the road. They appear to have finalised the consortium structure as there is no mention of waiting on anyone to commit and: "The Company has now refined contractual terms for project construction and operation, together with assembling the full funding consortium and set the conditional terms for the development funding package of c.US$221 million." There are no more "ANS" type investors hovering in the background and the path to full funding has been determined. They are just getting the formal clearnaces and sign-offs to the (fairly material) change by the sound of it. If there is an AGM resolution to authorise further, specific, share issues there will hopefully be further explanation as well. Since the first funding announcement years ago, they have changed the operator, the contractor and the banks - there's nothing left of the original consortium. | estseon
04/6/2021 17:43 | Thanks Scotty. | robjm66
04/6/2021 17:27 | Cheers Scotty, there’ll be a lot don’t believe undoubtedly. I don’t think that the share price is necessarily a reflection of this. They talk about transferring stock from the impatient to the patient, and that’s a bit rich, here at Kefi, when some have been waiting ten years. But I think that there is a case for saying that typical aim punters, who need reassurance, be it a rising sp, or message boards full of positivity are being provided with what little incentive they need to sit on the sidelines. Probably to someone else’s benefit. A good weekend to everyone | rich1e |
