On the 29th of April 2021, H.E. Dr. Muktar Kedir, Ambassador-Designate of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Commonwealth of Australia had a dialogue with Mr. Harry Anagnostaras-Adams, Executive Chairman of KEFI Gold & Copper PLC.
H.E the Ambassador-Designate extended his appreciation to the Executive Chairman and his team for choosing Ethiopia as their investment destination. H.E Dr. Muktar also noted that the government of Ethiopia is committed to executing an ambitious economic reform that makes the mining sector a key priority to drive industrialization.
Mr. Harry, in his part, briefed the Ambassador-Designate about the progress of the project at Tulu Kapi, and the remaining tasks that need to be completed, in the coming months, to start production. He noted that once completed, the project will be the biggest single export generator for the country; and created thousands of direct and indirect jobs for local people.

Lol, I changed the 'phrasing' a couple of times but thought to hell with it, you lot don't think like that...

Maybe I should have stuck to 'Mayday' Mayday' instead of 'raising' images of May Day poles and optimistic celebration of good times coming (don't misinterpret at the back!).

But I reckoned we don't need imminent disaster call signs...

Any way, as far as I'm concerned we crashed long ago and simply need to become a Phoenix to have made this investment worthwhile. Blooming lights still on or not. A million quid a month indeed.

I would tentatively suggest that the funding structure would need to be sorted out at least 3 weeks before the AGM in order for the resolutions to be determined and included in the notice. That assumes that enabling powers of some description relevant to the project will be sought, which was implied in the presentation as, otherwise, why mention it at all?

So, May will/might (be THE MONTH). Halleluja

I would guess AGM mid to late June to sign things but main breakthrough or breakthroughs to show everyone else is happy before election throughout May.

“Regulatory confirmations required from Government and from KEFI shareholders at AGM; Trigger Tulu Kapi full development of open pit, (gold-silver);”; (June 2021) probably will move the actual day either forward or backward to fit in with everyone bar Kefi and the government signing off before the AGM.

Probably never. Last year it was in August.
