There is no reason why news should come quickly I’m afraid...although it would be nice if it did...better to just wait and see...less frustrating..I believe it will come before the end of Q1 2021 but we cannot know precisely when...maybe a few days but more likely several weeks...in the fable the tortoise beats the hare

You’re talking to the converted here, belfast. I don’t think that anyone will be buying sub 3p on successful funding announcement. I think that with commodity prices, and the Saudi news, that’s not been already factored into the sp, on top of the prospect of future good news, 10p plus is on the cards within a short space of time, maybe weeks, following TK funding. But its frustrating that those who choose to take the gamble, that timescales are going to slip, come out the victor.

In the uncertain investment space of junior miners and emerging markets, investors need some accuracy in official news flows more than anything, and the punters feel that they can safely bet against what they are being told and, to date, they’ve been right. Good news on Monday, bring it on for me

Hi Rich, 190k ounces of gold per annum at c1900 USD per ounce plus substantial prospects nearby...would seem like a great incentive for all stakeholders and EG government to desire to get funding sorted ASAP...great economics usually wins over even the most bureaucratic of processes imho.

Hi Katsy, Day trading is for experts or fools imho, daily moves, gold goes up, gold goes down...no reason at all to trade Kefi shares based on daily or weekly gold prices...I'll stick with being long Gold which was +25%, Silver +48% gold mining +22% in 2020...that said, I see my Kefi shares as my Bitcoin equivalent bet ?...huge potential ROI assuming funding is sorted in Q1.

I hope people weren't selling out because they thought the deal would be completed this week. Anyway I suspect people are selling to just get on the crypto and blockchain bandwagon. Also Gold down a lot this afternoon.

Yes interesting dynamics at the minute...Bitcoin hitting new records every day...treasury yields rising 1%, Tesla etc..etc...personally I think we are in the bubble everything atm..and when it bursts there will be hell to pay...so I'll stick with the shiny metal which has proved itself over millennia...does the economy look in great shape to anyone? Covid not a problem...TRILLIONS more defecits as far as the eye can see?

Goatie, I didn't think you'd pay attention to anything other than an RNS for your promises? The first point in that presentation in Q4 20 must have passed me by ;)

On the mine at TK, the last official word via regulatory news service (the one with the super-thorough NOMAD oversight) was:

"We are on track for the principal outstanding Ethiopian Project financing-related matters to be completed in the coming weeks, with financial closing and the start of development planned for Q1 2021, leading to the continuing goal for the start of gold production during Q4 2022."

Now to remind you of your own advice, we should not pay any heed to things that haven't been promised, and "continuing goal" is very far from that, is it not? VAR will see to it, lol.

As for Bo Jo, you must be just as selective in his doings as with our own Harry if you really believe he "does what he says he will". The trail of deceit and volte-faces are legion and can be ignored but not denied. Right from when he was a journalist getting sacked for fabricating stories...

Why doesn't Harry delegate, we might ask, if it is such a skill? Or, perhaps you think he has where it counts, and the presentation, diplomacy and communication sets he has in 'spades'?

I do not disagree with you about Trump. I hope he gets impeached - but he does have nearly half the electorate on his side.

I totally disagree than Boris is a buffoon. He does what he says he will, and has that rare gift of delegating to competent people.

Completely agree jaylett...the RNS is as clear as it is...financial closure and start of development is "planned for" in Q1....(not a guarantee) so in theory an announcement could come anytime between now and end of Q1...we all hope sooner than later but patience required I'm afraid...so we can all decide to either sell, hold or buy more...the choice is yours to make...personally I see PGMs going much higher in 2021/22 and Kefi finally getting funding sorted in Q1...but you pays your money and make your bet

That is not complicating anything. A "good man who does nothing", etc., applies.

As for 2022, that assumes we are building by June, does it not? So I would say it is at the very extent of his current comments and timelines. But maybe you still see it all with rose tints despite your own advice that we should not expect it as nothing has ever been 'promised'?!

Personally, provided funding is fixed this quarter I can see no reason why first pour should not be in 2021.

Even ignoring TK news would hope for a decision this month or soon on licence applications in the KSA and/or more drilling assays results from Hawiah.

As for Goatherd, Matthew, he did say all the above many, many, many (I could keep typing that for a while) times and has, as I've pointed out before, no investment case that is defensible or is a rotten apple.

The only other option is he forgets what is actually happening/happened and simply pipes up every now and then. Given his age - and that in itself is unusual to be so into messageboards - maybe you should give him some slack and assume the latter?

Katsy, "coming weeks" is indeterminate. It always is/was in Harry speak since before Goatherd first started reminding us (many, many etc. times) that no dates are ever promised so we are all fooling ourselves saying/believing so. Or making that a reason to invest. Heaven forbid we should ever listen to the guy in charge.

It's not his fault nobody wants to make millions - except us. Lol. Like Trump and Boris, Harry will sell us out in a second, change his mind, move the goalposts, and not blink an eye while doing it.

But if this is the latest, biggest snow job then at least me and Taxloss are booking the first flights to his Cyprus idyl once we get the jab and we'll at least see what our investment has built...$30k a month plus expenses and consultancy fees should have got quite a nice pad.
