23/4/2020 17:05 | The trouble is, charmer, that there are a few handfuls of people making our lives a misery. The ANS mob is one collection and the so-called experts is another. We are battered from dawn to late at night by "bad news" and despair. we are told that lying down on a towel in the sun is tantamount to treason whereas a sunbather is less likely to transmit the virus than a walker, who is far less likely than a jogger. The frustration is building. | ![]() estseon
23/4/2020 14:57 | the lights never go out here, just dark days for shareholders.... there will always be an excuse with ANS, but Harry will wave another carrot in front of shareholders to keep his salary gravy train at full steam.... as we all know this is the worst performing gold mining stock in the world and the CEO should be paid accordingly, but that wont happen... snout in the trough.... | ![]() pjj71

23/4/2020 14:35 | When Adams resigned from EMED he was on £230k a year. That was 2012. In 2013 he earnt £195k in wages AND took a £567k golden handshake when he left. THATS not counting the shares and warrants he accumulated from 2004 to 2013.. He was paid in wages, shares AND warrants in 2018. £370k wages. We don't know what he paid himself last year until the reports are published. He CANNOT lose. Ridiculous awards and warrants on January 6th this year, where everybody assumed ANS would be paying up forthwith because Adams had led everyone to believe this was it, AFTER the shambles on Share Issues September to November last year. NOT only was the GM of the 6th a waste of time, effort and substance it was probable used to lull everybody into a false sense of anticipation while the management all fed at the trough of EXTRA shares and warrants. We should be standing outside his house wielding pitchforks, mouthing obscenities and infused with righteous indignation. Alas we are reduced to typing words in sans serife on a BB hosted by ADVFN. | ![]() cybaajak
23/4/2020 14:23 | Harry does, quite possibly, have a lot of skin in the game. As I understand it (I admit I could be wrong), Harry and the board have, for some time, been taking their salary in shares. I guess the cost of exercising the potential warrants, due at the end of the month, could be offset against this. Whether or not this is the case, I have no idea. In addition, Harry and his family have a large number of shares in their Pension Fund. Like goatherd, I certainly have my doubts about Harry's performance to date, but there certainly have been an extraordinary number of bad complications since the deal with the EG and ANS was first muted following the change of Government. These include attempted coupes, Locust storms, and the onset of Corona virus. Under UK law governing contracts, 'time is of essence'. This does not seem to be the case in Ethiopia - a great pity. | ![]() scrappycat

23/4/2020 13:55 | "I am delighted to confirm the signed subscriptions of ANS Mining into the Project company. Whilst we have been working closely with ANS Mining for some time and developed an excellent relationship, I am now pleased to be able to welcome them formally as partners." Sum total handed over to date, by these partners with whom we have an excellent relationship: zero. | ![]() jaylett
23/4/2020 13:51 | Very well said, @jaylett. The myopia is astonishing! | sussexlibran
23/4/2020 13:43 | Christ some of you have got it bad. They're even parroting HAA's little phrases, like Rodney trying to be Del Boy. No way, Pedro! He "has a lot of skin in the game" does he? Do you realise how ridiculous you sound. He's earning £30k a month, every month, from 'the game', regardless of how it turns out. It's rigged; he can't lose. Oh and ANS's subscription is "unconditional", so Covid-based excuses are invalid as well. KEFI haven't said once that anything has changed and the last expected deadline for the payment was three weeks ago and counting. Emails asking for clarification on this are ignored. Something smells very fishy indeed here and it's not the nice bit of cod I'm having for my lunch. | ![]() jaylett
23/4/2020 13:22 | It does not affect electronic money transfers and Kefi has not said that the project is currently affected by the pandemic. One week left until expiry of the warrants (next Thursday). | ![]() estseon
23/4/2020 13:12 | Just wondered if you had heard about the worldwide pandemic sweeping the planet? It can be deadly and the world has gone into lockdown. It also affects Ethiopia. | ![]() neilng

23/4/2020 12:31 | @goatherd - I didn't say he gained by them. He lives in a fantasy land does Harry, twisting words and spinning deceit month after month. That is blatantly obvious, because we're now in April and that "imminent" money from ANS is still missing. Furthermore, polite emails to the company asking where it is are ignored, which should ring alarm bells to everybody, even the Harry fan club. | sussexlibran
23/4/2020 12:30 | Would be a good gesture if the board a least took a pay cut in these times. | ![]() robjm66
23/4/2020 12:18 | I lost patience with this after March passed with no money. Didn't Harry promise the money by March? Maybe it wasn't a promise, might just have been an aspiration. Anyway, I was sucked back in by all the "good" news and promises. It was hard to sell. All that FOMO stuff that we have to deal with. What clinched it for me was realising that they could go bust. I can't see how they could even raise money in the present climate without absolutely catastrophic dilution. And why? To pay the directors salaries; that's why. So I am out with yet another severe hit. I won't be back. But I will follow it out of interest. | ![]() andysand
23/4/2020 11:36 | Got some sympathy for people losing patience with harry and to a lesser extent with kefi but doubt even holding a EGM would be practical at the moment. If it was do not think there are the votes to oust him if there was only really suitable candidate to parachute in without losing even more time would be Jeff Rayner assuming he even wanted the job. Even assuming you managed all that kefi would still be in the same position waiting for Ethiopian investment. | ![]() robjm66
23/4/2020 11:17 | mam fach, I think it is called 'passing the time'. | ![]() scrappycat |
