23/11/2019 23:06 | My guess is Monday or Tuesday. But could easily take longer in Ethiopia. | andysand

23/11/2019 21:10 | Chaps, very very likely first instalment will be received by end of next week. Could go crazy and 4p very Possible. I be keeping an eye out for volume next week. Fully loaded here now . Speaking to few other investors that invested here pre 2013, they have also been averaging down. I think the time is finally here . Great few months to look forward 2. | oilisgold

23/11/2019 11:34 | Interesting graphic on this tweet. KEFI is heading into the institutional / strategic investment stage. | smackeraim
23/11/2019 10:49 | So, Ethiopia is three hours ahead of us. If schedule is adhered to, and the Kefi news is announced during the case study presentation, could be an RNS over here around lunchtime on Monday. Would fit with the government’s promise to start the project in November. Not pinning hopes on that but would be a nice start to the week. Wouldn’t be surprised if the share price at opening on Monday is dragged down by MMs to scare folk into selling. Hopefully, PIs won’t be spooked. Whether next week or beginning of December, Kefi should head back to its 3 yr high pretty soon. GLA TC | thechinaman1
22/11/2019 22:24 | oilsgolc, You are preaching to the converted here. The long termers have, including myself, no intention of selling out at this stage. Much of the recent activity is due to traders, encouraged and manipulated by the MMs, plus CLN clearing their books. Long termers are surely maxed out, and playing the waiting game. | scrappycat
22/11/2019 18:53 | Its times and situations like this, many sell out trying to chase other shares. Chaps have some faith, the clues have all been given. Things take time in Africa and you don't wanna be CAUGHT PANTS DOWN HERE. The sellers are sliwly selling and the CLN hopefully be all sold out soon. Ignore few percent decreases each day cos the incoming rise will reflect the true MCAP. According to my calculations we need few good volume days next week to get rid of the main sellers. Exciting times ahead. | oilisgold
22/11/2019 18:50 | Well, I feel that there will be good news here on Monday to tie in with that conference, especially when Kefi are sponsoring it. A great showcase for companies investing in Ethiopia that would be... especially the mining sector...what better advertising could you wish for!!!! | the charmer
22/11/2019 17:09 | Its been a very long 7 year plus more wait for many. So, in the context, few more weeks are nothing. You have traders on LSE bb panicking for few percent....lol. it will do 50% to 100% when news drops , so chill all. Have a nice weekend. | oilisgold
22/11/2019 16:48 | I imagine that they are pulling out all the stops at the EG, Kefi and the ANS, to try to ensure the opening of the mine is declared prior to, or contemporaneously with the presentation at the conference. Either way will require a RNS to be issued prior to, or at the same time as, the declaration. Any idea what time the presentation is scheduled for? | scrappycat
22/11/2019 16:07 | John, I truly hope next week is the week you are waiting for. Bests. | smackeraim
22/11/2019 16:05 | I am 83 years old & feel that I am wishing my life away longing for the next week then the next week, hopefully it will be next week. John | 3690john
22/11/2019 16:00 | Its the Ethiopian International Mining Conference & Exhibition (EIMC 2019) at the Hotel Sheraton, Addis Ababa. Starts on Monday. Kefi are sponsoring the event and there's a case study about Tulu Kapi being presented. you'd assume they'd want it signed off before then.... | richsmithsmith
22/11/2019 15:51 | He has just valued it on Tulu Kapi, and, although he mentions the fact that there are other project (e.g. the very promising Saudi Arabian one), he ignores them in the valuation. | scrappycat
22/11/2019 15:35 | Wouldn't trust an analyst. Worth noting the same guy tipped Pan African in August as his buy recommendation.. right at the top lol | smackeraim
22/11/2019 15:27 | In AIM always expect the unexpected. News will drop when least expected. | oilisgold
22/11/2019 15:21 | John Cornford wrote an article last night for MasterInvestor, it was about coal to power but in it is a mention of KEFI, this is what he says:- "After years of false starts, Kefi Minerals (LON:KEFI) also now looks like delivering, and with all agreements in place should see its shares rise up to first gold production some time in 2021 (let’s say 2022). If gold stays at $1.500/oz, the latest company estimate is that Kefi’s 45% share of its Tulu Kapi project (there are others) is for an 8% NPV of $137m at start of production (ie after capex is spent) – equal to10p per the near 1bn current shares after the recent conversion of all outstanding loan notes. However, readers will know I don’t believe a theoretical NPV per share is ever fully achieved. Researcher Edison forecasts share values more logically by projecting the dividends Tulu Kapi will be able to pay, which they say justifies a share price more like 4p. I, personally, have sold some of mine at 1.8p to await a lull which I expect once the current upward surge temporarily runs out of steam." | paleje
22/11/2019 14:59 | Feels like mms will take it down massively to shake as many as they can and collect and then bring it up.Readying my top up very soon too many short sighted holdings. | shafaq
22/11/2019 14:57 | @scars - based on past experience I bet 100/1 on a positive RNS before end Nov 2019. And 3/1 on signing before XMAS! | cjm681 |
