01/10/2019 12:19 | So (at least) another full month for any value catalyst to materialise then. This is utter madness. | jaylett
01/10/2019 12:13 | The glaring difference is there is no year stated.. I'm immediately suspicious. And Cynical. Probably more cynical than suspicious.. | cybaajak
01/10/2019 12:05 | And what is the difference between "in October" and "by the end of October"? | goatherd
01/10/2019 12:04 | The BOND is already slated for March 2020, and that is coming from Luxembourg, so it won't be long before that becomes the 'new' trigger date, and the schedule, already slated as 'UNSTOPPABLE' becomes slightly stoppable with a tendency to slip a bit, may take longer than envisaged (as this IS Africa). I'm not taking bets, or opening a book on the above but given that EVERY SINGLE FORECAST given over the past TWO YEARS, to date, have been missed, I won't even be surprised when nothing happens in November as well. | cybaajak
01/10/2019 12:03 | Trouble with mining companies like other companies shareholders want precise timelines but miners more likely to be hit by factors outside their control. So give a precise time and you get jumped on if you miss it even by a few days so the temptation is to give yourself a bit of wiggle room. If a Aim miner started out with "well it could take us anything from five years to ten to get a decent prospect going, which is good as lot of miners do not get that far" investors would flee. What's the discussion here what time in the this month do we think things will take off? | robjm66
01/10/2019 11:46 | @goatherd - what the RNS of 4th September actually said was this : "have confirmed their respective commitments to the start of development at the Tulu Kapi Gold Project (the "Project") in October 2019" So, it was "in October" and now it's "by the end of October". I have also seen references to "the end of the rainy reason" (which is September) along with many other ambiguous statements. And herein lies the problem - there is always some wiggle room to delay. | cjm681
01/10/2019 11:23 | ...and they all lived happily ever after ;-) | robjm66
01/10/2019 11:17 | Once upon a time, in the land far, far away...... | scars
01/10/2019 11:06 | From the KEFI website Q & A page. "Have all reports required from KEFI for the closing of the ANS investment been completed? And when is closing and project trigger expected? In regards to all the reports, yes. And closing is expected by the end of October as reported in KEFI's announcement dated 4 September 2019 and Interim Results released on 23 September 2019. Posted 01 October 2019" Note it is "expected" NOT a "promise". | goatherd
01/10/2019 09:47 | 1.71p for me - 2 year target of 8p | matthew stone
01/10/2019 09:27 | A bit over three pence have not worked it out precisely as not fixated on a break even price though as have no plan to sell any if I can avoid it as looking for it to multi bag from that price. | robjm66
01/10/2019 06:52 | @taxlosstone - My original purchase years ago was 1p pre-consolidation, so 17p. That was only £1k. Since then I have "invested" around £13k. I think my break even is around 4p. | cjm681
30/9/2019 21:50 | When taking into account consolidation I bought some of these at 57p, 39p, 20p etc., so yes I want to drive the price down for a quick 6 year buck lol. | digger2779
30/9/2019 20:13 | Delta it wasn't Harry that made that comment. It was Ian Pilmer a previous Non-Exec. A prediction I think he made in good faith and one he came to regret. Harry has made sooooo many inaccurate predictions amongst other errors but that comment wasn't however one of them. With Harry I'm not sure whether his comments and the company press releases he has approved have been wilfully misleading... Jeff Rayner, the CEO at the time of my initial and substantial investment was someone I thought was good for his word. Alas he was an expert in discovery and moved aside when the Board felt the company needed a CEO more capable of taking the business into production. Harry has some skin in the game financially, although has been well remunerated over the last X years relative to the business progress. There remains gold in the ground and significant other minerals in Kefi's license areas in both Ethiopia and Saudi, let's hope the management of Kefi can extract it with a substantial return to CURRENT Kefi shareholders. (I've no doubt the gold and resources are there in the ground, based on the work of Kefi's world-class discovery and research) | sweetwaters
30/9/2019 19:52 | I have no interest in how many shares people hold in Kefi but would just for a bit of (gallows)humour, like to know their break-even figure. Mines 5.30p :-( | taxlosstone
30/9/2019 19:46 | Goatie. You do make me laugh. From what you say, you're heavily "invested" in Kefi & have been for some time. You appear (gosh, I'm presuming so on dangerous ground) to think that Harry has done everything perfectly, said everything accurately & only outside influences have caused the many hiccups. Are you not concerned at all that ANS haven't stumped up any cash at all for well over a year despite extracting a money back guarantee during that time? Do you not worry about the shysters that we get into bed with for the short term working capital that is needed because ANS won't step up to the plate? What would happen to Kefi if ANS back away, do you think? Has Harry a contingency plan if that's what they indeed do? I'm certainly not looking to drive the share price lower so that I can buy more. I really want Kefi shares to appreciate & NOW would be a very acceptable time. :-( | taxlosstone
30/9/2019 19:18 | cjm681, Well personally I admire Harry for what he has done. I simply do not understand why anyone should think adversely "given Harry's performance". I suppose many people here are out for the quick buck, have never run a business themselves, and have no African experience. Incidentally I deplore the way people keep saying "most people" when they have no evidence for that at all. But many posts ignore evidence. I challenged anybody to provide evidence that Harry had promised the money would be with us today. Nobody has done so. | goatherd
30/9/2019 18:52 | @goatherd - I very much doubt that is the case. Firstly, most people would think that investing further money here foolish, given Harry's performance. Secondly, people don't need to talk the share down - dilution and delays take care of that. | cjm681
30/9/2019 18:45 | "As HAA has said on numerous occasions that the price should be multiples of the current price." LOL !! the forced 'long-termers' will remember very well when the same HAA, in March 2012, said : "Investors looking to turn $1 into $100 should invest in Kefi" that was when the share price was 2p (pre-consolidation). Then when challenged later on, he denied ever making that comment. | delta0091
30/9/2019 18:35 | I wonder how many posters here are knocking KEFI because they merely want to top up cheap. Much as I would like it cheaper for that purpose I think it is frankly dishonest; so I hope not too many are doing it. But I do have my doubts. | goatherd
30/9/2019 18:32 | If it's so simple, why can't ANS step up and honour its commitment to release funds by end of September to get the TK project started? | divmad
30/9/2019 18:28 | It's really pleasing to see HAA meet the Hawaiah drilling deadline. Yet another company making asset. Such great timing to stave off the naysayers. I do have a small amount of life sympathy for our Harry - I mean the stories that have been recounted about doing business in Africa day it all. Remember, it is only recently that these people have had electricity - don't expect so much out of them. It's a simple life in a simple country of indigenous simple people. We'll get there everybody should just cheer up | riotinted_specs
30/9/2019 16:55 | @whatnow1 - dont worry, today's dilution of another 15m shares will soon see it back down!!! | cjm681
30/9/2019 16:22 | And yet, HAA has on numerous occasions, made business finance deals that shred the share price. In fact the share price has been on a ski slope of downward proportions as a DIRECT result of his business acumen for the past 7 years. Who'd have thought eh ! | cybaajak |
