Jeez at this rate Hawiah will be up and running before TK. Relize security concerns but other miners are going ahead in Ethiopia. Unrealistic expectations from locals? Guess means they are asking for more money?

Says that mine will be safer than others in Africa so one does wonder if the security concerns are being over egged and the locals “at district level” wanting more money is more of a problem.

On one hand hope it’s not a case of local bureaucrats wanting brown envelopes on the other if it is that will probably get overcome by pressure at national level.

Harry should not really be surprised by people wanting more money as it was that problem that knocked Saudi off course for so long.

One positive is locals still want things to go ahead as they want the money.

Lol, I accidentally clicked on an old thread, was reading the posts thinking they were talking about today, then noticed it was 2016. So nothing has changed about Kefi/Adam in all this time. I guess more average down for the LTI, dreaming of riches at 2p now after the massive dilution that will come. See you here this time next year, when that carrot is still being waved around.

The reason I sold 4 months ago was because of riotintedspecs rude defensive attitude here was a big giveaway that KEFI is just another Churchill and Oxus type of share. Also posts getting huge upticks is another alarm bell sign for me.

I called this a number of times. I can also pretty much guarantee there is no real plan around that Q4 date either; it's just the next convenient cut-off to keep shareholders dangling for a bit longer. This entire project stinks to high heaven and has done for for years and years.

He should go for the decision to enter Ethiopia alone, let alone the shambles since. An absolute disaster for which he has never taken responsibility, preferring instead to disparage shareholders ("nervous nellies") who in fact had very valid concerns and have been proven completely right. He's a total charlatan.
