neilng, much obliged...............not many of us left if this tread is anything to go by.......very odd.
yes,12 years plus,its been a blast,er,or will be soonish.....
im so old i had a shedload even before Mr Plimer sold at 9pps or whatever it was................thats 153pps in 'new money' chaps.
unless my memory fails me (quite possible) i nearly sold a lump at 6.8p (116p) but didn't..............and bought a million instead.
that error has been the stone in my shoe for a long time, but i figured the story was good so bought more, lots more, all the way to 0.6p i think it was.
the resultant b/e was much better, but still needed attention,so added a few million since.............decent b/e now but not as good as you lot,it never will be.
not really relevant as its all my own fault,no problem.
i can wait 12,13,14 years,no different to a longish term ISA,SIPP,pension strategy,as long as it delivers eventually.
it will because the story is better now than it ever was,the money to be made by the investors,GoE,directors, funders etc. is colossal,a massive incentive.
anyone else got into DARK,thats been a good one ?
see you on the other side, should be in profit by Christmas 21.
cheers all
HB

Sobering report on 10 o clock BBC news on the situation in Tigray. They are going to fight for independence if necessary. I think everyone will forgive Harry's past mistakes if he gets funding over the line.

Feels like we have been stuck between 1.8p and 2p for an eternity. I'd expect an update either positive or negative before the end of July. We don't have much longer to wait at least.

Katsy, I can't visualise "an indifferent outcome".

Either the current funding structure is concluded or a new one will have to be negotiated, which would certainly blow the schedules out of the water.

They have indicated some flex on the final figure but that is limited.

Don't underestimate the difficulties that Covid is creating. If HAA had been resident in Melbourne (Victoria) instead of Sydney (New South Wales), he might be still locked up there. The lefty Australian states have even closed the borders between each other.

Do not see any indifferent response when a deal is completed just people are holding fire till it is or we see more recent progress.

When/if a deal is completed, there'll no doubt be a lot of talk about how poor it is, and how there's a gap to be filled. Then I suspect, trust will be magically restored

Maybe because it was slightly negative. I know big deals like this are complicated, and Harry has listed all the hops/red tape his had to do to get here. However were these hops/red tape not there last October, so I don't know how he could've said with confidence of completion at the time. Something doesn't quite feel right about this!!! I really hope I'm wrong but I suspect the delays and lost trust will result in an indifferent outcome when or IF any deal is completed.

Can’t think of which clown has ticked you down, Katsy. Probably someone a tad insecure about their investment who cannot abide any realistic negativity or pessimism.

After all, what you’ve suggested is highly likely to happen, based on past experience.

I don't know if it was the mining journal guy who once commented on speculation that Centamin might be involved in the TK finance. It could be in an archive somewhere

Thanks Rob it's a good link...and I think his view is generally correct we have hit a becalmed spot indeed and volumes are minimal...if I too had a lot more spare cash I'd be buying more Kefi not selling...but I continue to hold as an LTI on the hope that Kefi secures funding and then as he says in the article a tripling of share price is entirely possible...won't hurt also as good and PGMs continue to bounce back as they are doing...

The only thing which is going to move the share price Donegal is further news on TKGM funding...ideally final legally binding and signed funding closure but I'd settle for the Ethiopian Central Bank and Mining ministry signing off the consortium plan and maybe a statement of whose involved etc as an interim...RNS...no idea why it moves this slowly...glaciers move faster frankly But patience required I'm afraid as if/when big news drops volumes and share price will spike quickly I think DYOR
