The geological reports and ore estimates have been good and it could be argued that they have attracted investors.
The wider question is what happened then?
Did the projects go into production?
Were they sold on for another company to take into production money returned to shareholders or were they abandoned and the capital raised written off?

Harry's "boy, Jeff" is a wizard Geo and his drilling campaigns are extraordinarily efficient and successful, probably because of the preparation he does searching out and reviewing previous exploration reports in the target area. Once this damned funding is done and dusted and he is given his head,we should see exploration news flow.

Harry did not state a deadline but said that the local EG investors would be offered to invest in the same terms as others but had zero negotiation on timing or conditions etc...ie a put up or shut up deal. To close before end March 2021 (with complex legals & financial documents across multiple parties) I'm guessing would be fairly imminent...personally I'm hoping the local EG's do NOT invest as if not we may have 75%~80% of the TKGM ownership rather than 65%+

Interesting comment by johnweaver. The good old days eh? Harry at ProActive every other week. Copper in Cyprus, the first time I encountered him and EMED. What, 15/16 years ago?
I wonder how much money he has raised over the years, and how much metal he and his then 'boy' Jeff have produced.

IMHO, no way will Harry be out. He is well respected by the mining community as a whole, and by the Ethiopians in particular. He has certainly been very instrumental in acquiring access to some superb assets.

RTS can you remember the deadline for locals? I think he said there was only a small window of time open before they carry on and finalise without them.

For clarity, if any local Ethiopians accept the invitation to participate, they will have to abide by the existing terms provided to the government. There will be no negotiation or tweaking - it is a take it or leave it offer.

Harry certainly implied, in his last webcast, that he anticipated that funding would be finalised by the end of this month. HOWEVER, he also left the door open for the Ethiopians to participate further, if they were so inclined. Question is, how long does that particular door remain open?

I was the one who said "that's good enough for me", because it was. I was looking for reassurance that I should continue to hold until the end of Q1 and then reassess and I got it.

I'm not going to tell anyone what to do, but the webinar was very clear. As clear as HAA has been for a long time, in fact.

Chopper. Not a dig at you at all. I too am a shareholder relatively up to my ying-yangs & never sold a single share. It seems like I have had my fingers crossed for that all important RNS at 07:00 for most of my adult life. :-( If anything, I am sort of impressed by the fortitude of the incredibly patient LTHs here but I, like you, have to get my frustrations off my chest. We are alike but I like to think of myself as a more sophisticated footballer than you. ;-)
