03/3/2021 13:04 | The geological reports and ore estimates have been good and it could be argued that they have attracted investors. The wider question is what happened then? Did the projects go into production? Were they sold on for another company to take into production money returned to shareholders or were they abandoned and the capital raised written off? The answers are in the News section of this website under EMED or Kefi. Remember to DYOR. Good Luck to all, I shall not continue this conversation. For the record I hold shares in Antalya and two other mining companies and am researching two Cu producers, two steel producers and a royalty company for investment soon. | uncle john
03/3/2021 12:23 | Harry's "boy, Jeff" is a wizard Geo and his drilling campaigns are extraordinarily efficient and successful, probably because of the preparation he does searching out and reviewing previous exploration reports in the target area. Once this damned funding is done and dusted and he is given his head,we should see exploration news flow. | estseon
03/3/2021 11:27 | Harry did not state a deadline but said that the local EG investors would be offered to invest in the same terms as others but had zero negotiation on timing or conditions etc...ie a put up or shut up deal. To close before end March 2021 (with complex legals & financial documents across multiple parties) I'm guessing would be fairly imminent...personall | belfastboyo
03/3/2021 11:24 | Interesting comment by johnweaver. The good old days eh? Harry at ProActive every other week. Copper in Cyprus, the first time I encountered him and EMED. What, 15/16 years ago? I wonder how much money he has raised over the years, and how much metal he and his then 'boy' Jeff have produced. | uncle john
03/3/2021 10:52 | Yes, look at the assets Harry identified and blocked off years ago..... Now I'm a JV with AAU and in the hot new location where CHF gets all the interest..... | shortarm
03/3/2021 10:51 | That was a very patient answer to a small brained bell who constantly repeats the same nonsense! Not even sure why he posts as he owns no shares! Anywhere I believe;-) | shortarm
03/3/2021 10:50 | Harry will stick it out as he did in Cyprus, Turkey, Saudi and Spain. His salary will keep him loyal. | johnweaver
03/3/2021 10:39 | peverill, IMHO, no way will Harry be out. He is well respected by the mining community as a whole, and by the Ethiopians in particular. He has certainly been very instrumental in acquiring access to some superb assets. | scrappycat
03/3/2021 10:25 | Man you're a tool end! | shortarm
03/3/2021 10:22 | No doubt it will be the 31st March,if it DOES ever happen or the EG lose patience with Kefi and pull the rug,Either way Harry out. | peverill
03/3/2021 10:11 | 8:50 onwards in the webinar: "how reliable is 31st March? The fact we had the syndicate here in December...these banks and other people turned up, met the Government, because they want to go ahead. That's the best evidence I can provide. Closing in March was the words of syndicate members. What's the probability of this closing in the next few months? I think 100%. Can I guarantee that one piece of paper will be unsigned at 31st March..I can't guarantee that, and nor should I. But is everyone still pushing lawyers and staff for a close in March? Yes. But I believe it will happen, unless some phenomenal black swan event blows us out of the water. But, we're on. The behaviour of the syndicate is the best evidence of all". Believe it, or not. See you all in a month. | jaylett
03/3/2021 10:03 | RTS can you remember the deadline for locals? I think he said there was only a small window of time open before they carry on and finalise without them. | jlwilliams
03/3/2021 09:39 | For clarity, if any local Ethiopians accept the invitation to participate, they will have to abide by the existing terms provided to the government. There will be no negotiation or tweaking - it is a take it or leave it offer. | riotinted_specs
03/3/2021 09:32 | Harry certainly implied, in his last webcast, that he anticipated that funding would be finalised by the end of this month. HOWEVER, he also left the door open for the Ethiopians to participate further, if they were so inclined. Question is, how long does that particular door remain open? | scrappycat
03/3/2021 09:28 | Me too! Can anyone remember when the window of opportunity for local investors closes? Is it end of March? Just a simple RNS stating all is still on track for end of the month would be really welcome.... | matthew stone
03/3/2021 09:13 | T-20 trading range now. | katsy
03/3/2021 08:43 | Interesting trades yesterday. And they say that volume precedes price. Will today be the day? Have a good one all. | rich1e
03/3/2021 08:12 | I was the one who said "that's good enough for me", because it was. I was looking for reassurance that I should continue to hold until the end of Q1 and then reassess and I got it. I'm not going to tell anyone what to do, but the webinar was very clear. As clear as HAA has been for a long time, in fact. | jaylett
03/3/2021 06:33 | The answer was a simple Yes. | shortarm
03/3/2021 06:33 | The question was about the status of KEFI before the next webinar I believe. | shortarm
02/3/2021 22:54 | Nice one, Topical. : o ))) | scrappycat

02/3/2021 20:00 | Chopper. Not a dig at you at all. I too am a shareholder relatively up to my ying-yangs & never sold a single share. It seems like I have had my fingers crossed for that all important RNS at 07:00 for most of my adult life. :-( If anything, I am sort of impressed by the fortitude of the incredibly patient LTHs here but I, like you, have to get my frustrations off my chest. We are alike but I like to think of myself as a more sophisticated footballer than you. ;-) | taxlosstone |
