28/5/2020 09:27 | A pretty reasonable spate of buying this AM. Looks like the market is finally beginning to get the message that this mine will open, and has a very rosy future. | scrappycat
28/5/2020 08:23 | Looking at the presentation it would seem the obvious thing to do is to spend 10-15m usd on a .5mtpa heap leach operation to process the high grade oxide at the surface, that should produce 25-30k oz a year and 25m usd of cashflow, which is easily enough to then pay 50m for a 1mtpa floatation operation which will then have a mine producing 100k oz equiv , this will be a no brainer to get financed and will underwrite the market cap even with Ethiopia worth zero ... | catsick

27/5/2020 12:41 | Thanks again Estseon. We are all nuts here digger2779. | robjm66
27/5/2020 12:33 | estseon ..."man, woman, child and squirrel in the United Kingdom" this made me smile and have to agree that the latest bonanza was unnecessary but you got to keep the boys in suits happy even though the squirrel is more interested in nuts. | digger2779
27/5/2020 12:27 | Rob, They have said that they are in the course of preparing a PEA and I think the gold to be part of the means to the end, a copper/zinc mine, rather than an end in itself. But the gold is weathered and so a cheap heap-leach extraction should be all that is required, which means moderate or low capex to get the party going. Jeff Rayner will hopefully write something more comprehensive in the PEA. That deposit has travelled quite a long way since it was laid down. | estseon
27/5/2020 12:26 | Been saying that for years! | scars
27/5/2020 12:25 | I can't believe just how undervalued this stock is. A liquidity crisis in Ethiopia and a funding company dragging their heels, poor expectation Managment by KEFI has led to poor sentiment. This should climb to 2 or 3p on the Saudi results and then double or triple again on funding news. SHOULD! | riotinted_specs
27/5/2020 12:16 | Scars, there is no doubt that an RNS stating that all project equity had been received and that it was therefore unnecessary to proceed with the bonanza issue of shares equal to roughly 7 for each man, woman, child and squirrel in the United Kingdom would have produced a more enthusiastic response from the market. | estseon
27/5/2020 12:15 | Thanks Estseon would be good to see more information on the gold cap to go alongside past trenching results though I understand Kefi have to delineate a resource potential investors at the moment more likely to get excited about gold. | robjm66
27/5/2020 12:09 | Rob "Could really do with a Geo to explain what we have so far and could end up with." The formation of the VMS could have been as a line of "smokers" in an oceanic environment perhaps 100 million years ago. Perhaps longer? So there could be much more metal at depth as they dig down towards the source, though possibly only accessible though underground mining. The structure appears to be a gold-enriched cap, then a "high grade transition" layer enriched by copper etc leached out of the upper layer by weathering and then the VMS deposit as laid down. The gold can be harvested to provide a capital contribution to the cost of the mine and the high-grade transition layer will provide an accelerated paying down of debt. That's my guess. There will probably be more comment in the PEA when published. | estseon
27/5/2020 10:43 | Maybe I am being too negative so some background on the the SIDF who I would expect to cover most of the cost of developing any deposit. hxxps://www.thehindu hxxps://www.sidf.gov “and expands the reach of its support to cover a number of promising sectors in the areas of industry, energy, mining, and logistics.” hxxps://www.sidf.gov In efforts of supporting, facilitating and improving SIDF's clients' experience in 2019, the Fund went through a process of redesigning its internal work procedures. Which aimed to reduce the processing period of both existing and new loan applications. By automating all procedures and reducing the application response time by 60% (4-5 months in average), while maintaining the quality of the studies and consultations provided. hxxps://www.sidf.gov In its pursuit to support the mining sector, SIDF provides financing to mining projects for all types of minerals with financing up to 75% of project cost. The funding has also expanded to include financing advanced exploration activities "Delineation phase", which includes drilling and mine preparation activities. Moreover, SIDF will support the added-value services and companies linked to the sustainable development of the mining industry in all areas of the mining value chain. Knew about them covering most of the cost of an actual mine but interesting that now they might cover the "delineation phase" I had totally missed that maybe kefi could explain how it might work? | robjm66
27/5/2020 10:18 | The only thing that will actually shift this share price is money in the bank, too many missed deadlines, dilution and lack of trust. As someone said last week KEFI will make it eventually inspite of Harry, not because of him! The news on the ground has been good for some time now in yet the share price is lounging around at 1p when other sp's have spiked on much less. | scars
27/5/2020 10:16 | Well usually Charmer on aim the good news is put out on a Monday or Tuesday to give the share price a longer run, bad news on Wednesday to Friday with the hope it gets missed though I suppose in this case with the bank holiday Wednesday is Tuesday. Probably did have to release it fairly quick or with the steady climb back up of the share price the suspicion would have been something leaked. If they could have held onto the news till after the meeting would have been better though, that way newer investors other than vlth (veryt long term holders) me included that got into Kefi due to the potential in KSA could be walked through the whole thing. Got another company maker here as big or probably bigger then TK should be properly highlighted. | robjm66
27/5/2020 09:40 | robjm6627 May '20 - 09:32 - 3909 of 390 "Great news pity it was put out on a Wednesday." What' s your thinking/rationale behind that, Rob? | the charmer
27/5/2020 09:32 | Great news pity it was put out on a Wednesday. hxxps://m.engineerin “Hawiah already appears to have a more valuable metal content than Tulu Kapi in Ethiopia as we have only drilled the top of the system, which remains open at depth below all zones drilled to date.” Could really do with a Geo to explain what we have so far and could end up with. | robjm66
27/5/2020 08:13 | Yeah, good luck with that - can't see it ending well..... | shortarm
27/5/2020 08:13 | Harry isn't known for getting too excited which is why I recall him remarking on a presentation that the assets at Hawiah could be 'potentially mind blowing'. I never forgot that comment. | philby1
27/5/2020 08:10 | Maybe he prefers to get the current mob out and recover some value rather than have it stolen bit by bit through either incompetence or corruption | neally99911
27/5/2020 08:08 | Lovely sunny morning keffians!!! :-) | bostanli
27/5/2020 07:55 | Cyba votes no and wants to lose his entire investment - sensible stuff that is........ | shortarm
27/5/2020 07:40 | Cybaa. Even though I hate the phrase.... It is what it is! | the charmer |
