Come on chaps! Time for a bit of fun.

Using all of the information provided & all of your interpretive & investing skills, pick a date when the first tranche of money from ANS will actually be received from ANS. I'll go first with Thursday 27th February 2020

Gold seems to be breaking out of a symmetrical triangle - a continuation pattern.

Half expect a pull back to the upper (descending) line of the triangle.

Happy indicators and rising averages...

Agreed. Complete nonsense. But one share trades are a mystery to me still. What would make that happen?

Hi all. Stop panicking and whinging and wait for the next update is my advice. It will come really soon. We really have to give it at least 7 working days before we start moaning surely? Long term holders have become disillusioned of course. But actually, the news flow is pretty good. Might even get some good grilling results from Saudi if we are lucky:)

As I have said previously. AIM rules necessitate the publication of news that is price sensitive. The potential provision of funding is surly that. I have asked people to provide ideas on how to achieve this, given the fact that Kefi were dealing with unknowns. None have offered a solution.

How could Harry have done otherwise than what he did? Sounds as if some on here would have him include a Government Health Warning with each RNS. That would hardly have met with Ethiopian approval, and surely reflect on co-operation!!!!!

It`s been a long arduous, torturous journey for all lth`s. Now the finish line is in sight and the prize is going to be well worth the pain endured i feel.

.....Poor Harry! He probably simply does not know how long it will take......

Hi goatherd,

Apart from the "poor" word I tend to agree with you.

My, and I think other's, issue might is that he has never let investors know this and has for years promoted timescales which were no more than guess work couched in much more definitive terms.

Honesty might have saved a lot of investors a lot of money.

They are setting up a project that will, hopefully, run for decades, and will provide foreign currency and a significant income to the country's treasury. This is a first for them, and they will want to get it right.

Goatherd is quite right. To the Ethiopians particularly, time is not a critical factor. Getting it right is.

Poor Harry! He probably simply does not know how long it will take.

And, within a week or two, does it really matter? (except to traders!)

If it's a few months then it could be coinciding with the period when we'll be looking to secure fifteen times the amount we've already been waiting so long for. That should be fun!!

I also agree that the longer this farce with ANS drags on, the higher the chance of yet more dilution to "keep the lights on". Any placing might have to be got away closer to 1.25p the way things are going.

Harry is paid a pretty decent wage. Enough to warrant him delivering a little more clarity to his shareholders instead of these verbose and often vague RNSs.

The problem is we don't know if it will be a few days, or a few weeks or even a few months. If it's the latter, that will mean more dilution to keep the lights on. Meanwhile, gold continues to rocket - our share of the NAV has probably increased by close to our market cap in the last week, but no-one seems interested in buying, and even if they are the (published) spread will put most off anyway. I do agree, though, that this is now down to the ANS/EG, not KEFI, but they could help investors by at least trying to be clear as to what is now required before money actually changes hands.

... you have all been waiting years, and have not reaped anything ... other than more dilution and delays :-)

What , exactly, is the point in knowing precisely what is involved in completing the funding process. We have no idea how long it takes EG/ANS to complete a step. I am sure,Kefi will not hang around in providing what is required of them. Kefi are subject to conditions that are, surely, out of their control. It will take however long it takes to complete the process. I can wait a few days to reap the benefits, but understand that others are having a hard time keeping their patience. Trouble is, that is what you need when dealing with this part of the world.

The crying shame is that we / the market still doesn't know the process for actual release of funds by ANS. We know the next step only; "beginning with notarisation", etc. It drives me insane how they are still totally unwilling or unable to lay out what must be a formal, regulated process, and we're left to rely on speculation on BBs from supposedly local contacts as to exactly what might be happening. It's ludicrous.

GIVE US A FULL TIMELINE FFS, including every single step and deliverable leading up to funds being paid.

That's the crying shame of this counter, that it is not already in a pole position to exploit the emerging bull market in the POG.
