It may not even be "people" trading - there are lots of arcane trading systems making frequent trades based on even-more-arcane movements in share prices/volumes and perhaps these are involved?

The subsequent transfer of the first funds from ANS Mining to TKGM is expected to occur following the Meeting. As previously announced, the total ANS Mining commitment is US$38 million with the first US$9.5 million (Ethiopian Birr equivalent) being unconditional and subsequent amounts in accordance with the conditions previously indicated.

Key word... 'expected'.. anything can happen, but I sincerely hope it goes to the planned timetable..

Surprised at some of the speculation probably have a lot of the PR photo marketing ops today and a RNS Monday confirming release of funds from ANS Monday giving the share price a full week to run.

That's not to say there might be some interesting bits and bobs coming out of the meeting personally would be interested in any clues about the mining expansion potential in Ethiopia for Kefi and the Ethiopians ideas about how it could be exploited.

"ANS funds are to be released imminently and upon receipt of said funds the TK project is underwritten to begin in earnest which will, according to all reasonable valuations, make the parent company worth 2-3 times the current share price.

The initial $9m-plus deposit of a total $38m will be deposited into the holding account of TKGM either Friday 14th February after the formal general meeting in Ethiopia, or first thing Monday morning, depending on clearances and alongside official stock exchange announcement via RNS.

Filter on. I generally respond to illogical comments, and I certainly viewed yours as such. The company, the EG, and the ANS have had years to prepare for this moment. At no point have I said the transfer will occur today. I simply said it could.

Why make such a stupid comment then? Of course it can happen today. The question is not CAN it, but WILL it. Prudence suggests the outcome of the meeting will be notified given the price sensitivity of the information. There seems little reason why a positive outcome for Kefi should not result in a rapid transfer of funds.

Sometimes we get a rns before a meeting stating "General Meeting of the Company Harry Anagnostaras-Adams, Executive Chairman, will make the following statement:"
Today no rns and i think this will be the definitive meeting concluding if it`s"yes or no?"
Feel HAA already knows the outcome and is wanting enjoy adulation of the moment.

There is hardly any physical movement of cash these days. It will be an electronic transfer, and can take place in an instant. It could happen shortly after the close of the meeting, and, imo, is likely to, with the outcome of the meeting being price sensitive information.
