06/11/2019 14:57 | neilng Ah, you have me there. First bought Nyota in May 2012. I too have never sold a single Kefi share but I'm afraid that I don't feel proud about that. I've not heard any of Mr Market's signals. (Said in my best Quasimodo voice)I'm deaf, you know!! ;-) | taxlosstone
06/11/2019 14:29 | TaxDo you have 8.5 years?I could count the days but life's too short.I actually feel proud of the fact that I have never sold one share in that time. Mad mad mad the bells the bells aaah | neilng
06/11/2019 13:59 | RichSmithSmith, Jeff Rayner used to say that KEFI had assays, from way back in the '80s, from the drilling done by US and France, which were "unbelievable". I think the concept was that they would not announce them as it might help their competitors. But, IMHO those are competitors for licenses - and surely we have more than enough licenses. If the figures are truly as good as Jeff said then might not their release stimulate a share price increase - with all that would mean in lessening dilution during fund raising. I wonder if you might think that worth raising with Harry? | goatherd
06/11/2019 13:35 | neilng "Now down to 4.5867p breakeven, am I beating you"? What a mug. With my superior expertise I'm in at just 4.55p ;-) | taxlosstone
06/11/2019 12:05 | My average is 0.7p. | sicilian_kan
06/11/2019 11:04 | Hi HB Just call a spade a spade. Agreed It is all of the long term holders who have kept Kefi going by not selling up and moving on and Harry is one of them. Now down to 4.5867p breakeven, am I beating you? neilg | neilng
06/11/2019 09:11 | don't bother posting much these days, pointless when a BB is overrun with negativity. there is every opportunity to set up a 'bear thread' where like minded people can moan to their hearts content, and do their best to drag down the value of their own property. however, that clearly does not result in enough attention so it carries on over here. it has been said many times - no one put a gun to the heads of any investor as they pressed the 'buy' button. all of us bought (well, those that actually hold) shares in a junior company prospecting for gold in KSA/Eth ffs................. a horse is priced at 50/1 for a reason.............. the fact that our 'horse' now has vastly shortened odds from 10 years ago, does legitimise the decision to buy to some extent, but only for those that accepted the original odds and appreciated the rocky road that must be negotiated. there was always going to be dilution on a massive scale, ditto geo-political shennanigans and unexpected KSA/Eth events.............. KEFI will be the exception,i am convinced of it. the irony is that many naive investors bought in precisely because their mate down the pub told them about the zillions made on that one in twenty (or a hundred ?) and had a quick look at the hot stocks and the Sun tip sheet and ASSUMED that a twenty bagger was on its way. it was the companies fault that they lost their money, obviously. yes,the company has made some questionable (or even baffling) decisions along the way which have certainly exacerbated the extent of dilution............ we will never know if KEFI would still exist if different decisions had been made at that time. the directors will ultimately be the largest beneficiaries, and it is therefore logical that they would make every effort to protect that notional benefit as best they can. harry and family must need something approaching 15pps to break even on a very substantial seven figure investment and he is not a rich man. this is very probably his big (last ?) chance to make some serious wonga, and if there is any way this will proceed and be fully exploited,he will find it. hawiah being back in play is a massive impetus and driver and can only reinforce his efforts and undoubted tenacity. concentrate more on where we are,and where we are going, and less on what cannot be changed. protect your asset and not demean it,you may be more proud of it very soon. good to see a growing number of posters that are not on the dark side. 06/11/2019 08:35 | RTS and true colours. You stand there shouting loud and proud about someone else's misfortune, when I seem to remember he has already stated he is not an investor, berating him for both his choice of following Kefi AND raising his voice in concern about bad management practices that MIGHT get seen by a new investor doing their own research ? It COULD have been your advice in an earlier post that persuaded a naive investor to sink his money into this debacle years ago. He voices concerns and you slander him in this fashion ? I consider myself fortunate that I don't know you in real life. I find myself agreeing with your self-diagnosis. Also filtered. Whatever opinion you had, whatever benefit you bring to this board in opinion or assumption, is not worth my time reading. | cybaajak
06/11/2019 08:19 | Whoops I REALLY hit a nerve here. No surprise there, Confirmed, Red Rook you have lost a lot of money not in real terms but a lot for you. Everybody be aware Red Rook has lost his tiny shed load of money and he is down right bitter. He is not to be believed, this truth hurts and he has been very much so scarred by KEFI. Another AIM sucker who didn't see it coming. RR thanks for your temporary participation in making the market more liquid. It's a shame you have been beaten like a rented mule. You have nonetheless played a role. Stick around sport, it might seem a bit sick of me but I enjoy the facade of AIM losers. Buddy your a dime a dozen but there is something pure about witnessing your nativity, it's cute and desperate and foolish yet endearing and vulnerable. Keep it up buttercup it truly brings a smile to my face. | riotinted_specs |
