Cheers for the link Mike also it looks like we will get some news very soon just forund this snippet from May which states

The Global energy market is expected to be worth US$1.3 Trillion (€1Trillion) in 2010 and the group will be tasked with mobilising our talents across both the public and private sector to position Ireland at the forefront of the new global green economy, according to Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, Eamon Ryan TD

The group will report to the Government in four months time, advising it on how state agencies and departments should work together to exploit our huge potential in the area.

d6, recovery play? This is a fairly new listing and a very young company... huge upside here way greater than the 52week high IMHO. Good to see were 5.9% up... still in CSC pelleeds yeah, chopped about half holding and sitting on the rest! GL

Exactly my thinking, once we get the update that the have started producing electricity the share price is only going 1 way... as i feel this news isn't far off i do feel this is the bottom... hoping for good results as well to give us a little boost! GL

Afternoon Mike that buy is hardly going to set the MM's buzzing ?? but at least it's a buy, I may go for some more if I decide what to do with some other stocks I have. This IMHO is going to be a more long term stock but buying in at the bottom will only mean one way movement from here. I still don't think a market cap of over £100mln is not unreasonable for what they intend to offer. And if the small scale stuff takes off that could easily double

Hi Mike its difficult to say what valuation we should put on KED, the future growth for their business is huge and growing all the time. If they get half of the contracts proposed that cold give then revenue of over £200mln not taking into account all the small scale projects. The market is growing at some rate see link below. So I would say a market valuation for just the current information should be at least £100mln The BIG picture here is future growth in a market set for huge change and with world wide backing.

The market for the top three renewables - wind, solar, and biofuels - grew from $75.8 billion to $115.9 billion, or about 53%, indicating that these energy sources are getting more and more popular.

Donal Buckley, Chief Executive of Kedco said in the recent Trading Statement:

"We are delighted that the London joint venture agreement has been successfully signed as it secures us with the platform for the plant and a significant feedstock supply with visibility for up to ten years.

In relation to our other imminent project, the installation and build-out of the gasification plant is underway and despite the delay, we look to be producing electricity from the plant in the second half of 2009 in line with our stated strategy.

The movement into the smaller technologies opens up a larger market for the Group that has the potential to earn Kedco both additional short-term and recurring revenues.

These are significant agreements as we move closer to delivering value to our shareholders through the production of electricity in the second half of 2009."

So we should be getting an announcement soon saying that they are now producing electricity...

Figures do sound very pleasing to the ear, hell of alot of potential here and their first project is about to open... well in H2 2009... could well be in right at the bottom... you managed to work a rough valuation out for the co. by any chance?

Hi Mike well my calculations last night were a little optimistic if all 72 MW sites come off that could pocket them £450mln and this does not add into the account the much smaller anaerobic digestion systems this market could be massive when you look at what they intend to cover supermarkets, small hospitals and
healthcare centres, hotels, government buildings and food production companies.
