mariopeter- I understand the RNS perfectly well.
I'm told that there would be an RNS IF Darwin had been granted the CLNs.
It was due on the 22nd August and there is no word of it.
I'd guess there will be news next week from MEO, having done their initial analysis and that you see this as the last chance to try and persuade people not to buy...or indeed to sell..to try to get to your desired buy in price.
A cheap trick.

Darwin didn't reckon on the share price dropping so much on a poor well result if they forward sold their shares.

Historically the drop off rate on these sort of wells can be quite steep.

Furtehr Darwin forward sell they never take investment positions that are uncovered.

The figures for the Darwin short are in the links posted on the subject, not a figment of my imagination.
As far as we know, they don't HAVE the new CLNs because the criteria weren't met.
It would have been RNSd if it had been issued.

Dont be an idiot mclellan Darwin will reduce their short when they can convert their entire 500000 stg CVLN at as low a price as they can drive it down to in the market. They could be selling 100m shares on the basis they are going to convert at .005p. Its all up to them. Smell the coffee and don't invest again yet.

No it was .9p before MEO and there was a good chance from seismic that there were 9mmbo at PUKA.

No Mclellan not shorted in my life. I will buy if its cheap and thats below a half pence. If I stop you loading up before it falls to .005 then happy days. This will bounce only if there is more than 2mmbo in PUKA or they farm out Mauku or Mercury. Remote chance that they find something at PUKA 3 to help imho. Appreciate the zulu principle.

Mclellan, you do make me laugh, one minute you are about to buy lots of shares, the next you only have a small holding but then on other occasions you somehow managed to buy at the bottom when you were clearly holding from much higher levels - the bottom line is that all of your comments have to be taken with a pinch of salt!
