09/9/2009 16:35 | The odds of missing a 40% stock market rally whilst at the same time having directors buying,an agreements with BT and a turnaround in the companies fortune must be akin to winning the jackpot on the lottery every week for a year. KCOM is truly jinxed. | 25cent
09/9/2009 16:22 | FTSE breaks 5000 and KCOM breaks 27p So it was you stev; But KCOM is a sure winner; watch this space | moneyman18
09/9/2009 16:10 | Not just Aviva on that 27.75p offer 25cent. Am on there selling a few as well ! That 15k iceberg @ 27.75p offer has been there for days and days now and I'm sick of waiting for it to clear ! What a w*nker whoever it is as its clear that one seller is keeping the price down. Also worth noting I took what was on offer at 27.5p (4 x 20k) a bit earlier ! | stevi111
09/9/2009 15:56 | Yep it could take another 4 months for the idiots at Aviva to complete the sell out off their holding. | 25cent
09/9/2009 15:46 | What a truly appalling situation. | 25cent
04/9/2009 20:16 | These guys must have been shorting the shares, or had been buying Options, and have decided to keep the shares; Because I have NOT seen these share volumes going through on SET's, so they must be private transaction. But I guess IF they intend to hold the shares, its going to be GOOD | moneyman18
04/9/2009 16:07 | GAM International Management Limited increased to just over 3%, but only because the dividends received took them over. | optomistic
02/9/2009 11:33 | As always with shares that ignore the rally they are always the first to fall on any pull back. I think this needs some news to move it otherwise it could be heading back down with the market. Quite how this missed a 1000 point ftse rally heaven only knows. And also how two parties can buy a combined 15% in the same timespan without moving the price is also bizzare to say the least. Thanks Aviva great work, what muppets they are, hold all the way down from 80p and then sell at 28p just as things start to improve. Without them selling thier stake in KCOM would now be worth around 40p a share now instead of selling at 28p. I am glad my pension fund is not with these idiots. | 25cent
02/9/2009 09:57 | KCOM has been trading in a sidways channel for 4 months now, how it has been kept in that range for so long is remarkable considering the up move on the FTSE! Breakouts of long channels can be big...hope it is here and in the right direction. | optomistic
02/9/2009 09:43 | Someone is playing; just like they did with THUS, Just hope KCOM is not a Pandora's Box | moneyman18
02/9/2009 09:41 | Not on its own this morning MoneyMan. I would have thought we would have been firm after the Aberforth RNS...nothing goes to plan with KCOM! | optomistic
02/9/2009 09:21 | This is being marked down on BUYING !! | moneyman18
01/9/2009 17:02 | Aberforth now have 10.3% Interesting that on the 9th June they had 11.39% but today showing an increase in holdings of about 24 mill in the RNS. Must have disposed of stock in the past two months now rebought, never noticed the reduced RNS | optomistic
28/8/2009 18:22 | I think I was the only long term holder that sold all his 130k shares right at the bottom the Friday that very weekend the Press leaked the story; The shares doubled to 24p; I refused to buy in and the rest is history. And maybe those so optomistic people held on till the end. I am so wanting that to happen here; 80p as a deal target, From either BT or like with THUS Cable and Wireless If you hear of anything from anyone that may know please make a hint | moneyman18
28/8/2009 18:05 | I am afraid kcom remains jinxed.Just as the market rallies Aviva decides to dump millions and millions of kcom shares on the market drip feeding them at 27-28p keeping kcom well and truly handicapped and completely alone in the sector and market by ignoring the massive market rally over the last few months. Like I said the day they finish selling will probably coincide with a steep turn in the market in general. MM when thus was dropping the market was also dropping unlike now, were to be honest even terminal basket shares have shot up by 100%. | 25cent
28/8/2009 15:49 | Tell me about it :0( Lets hope like with THUS its a drop before the deal rumour comes out in the press this weekend | moneyman18
28/8/2009 14:43 | Wouldn't mind a rise for no real reason Money Man, we never seem to have a good day now :-/ | optomistic
28/8/2009 11:12 | This is painfull, everyother share on the monitor up everyday apart from this. ;-( | 25cent
27/8/2009 08:52 | opto, thanks for the updated shareholders list. | realcooltrader
27/8/2009 01:07 | 80p was not good enough a couple of years ago; I would take 50p if they offered it next week ! | moneyman18
26/8/2009 23:51 | lol a Black Swan event depends on the observer-a Black Swan surprise for the turkey is not a Black Swan surprise for the butcher, hence the idea is to "avoid being the turkey" by finding out where one may be exposed to being a turkey and "turn the Black Swans white". Or just accept an offer from c@w. | 25cent
26/8/2009 20:47 | Or a Black Swan will appear | moneyman18 |
