Kavango's 100% subsidiary in Botswana is the holder of 15 prospecting licences covering 9,231 km2 of ground including most of the 450 km long KSZ magnetic anomaly along which Kavango is exploring for Ni-Cu-PGE rich sulphide orebodies.

The area being explored displays a geological setting with distinct similarities to the Norilsk/Talnakh deposits in Siberia, host to the world's largest Ni-Cu-PGE mines.

· Two of the three new PL's are contiguous and immediately adjoin the northern area covered by Phase 1 of the AEM survey;

· The Company now holds 15 PL's that cover approximately 80% of the KSZ, a 450 km long magnetic anomaly and where Kavango is exploring for Ni-Cu-PGE rich sulphide orebodies;

· The Company's 15 PL's on the KSZ Project now cover a total of 9,231 km2.

They must be liking what they are seeing from the electromagnetic surveys so far to be adding licences already.

PRESS RELEASE

22 October 2018

KAVANGO RESOURCES PLC

STRATEGIC LICENCE ACQUISITIONS - BOTSWANA

Kavango Resources plc ("Kavango" or "the Company") (Ticker LSE: KAV), the exploration group listed on the Standard List segment of the main market of the London Stock Exchange and targeting the discovery of world class mineral deposits in Botswana, is pleased to announce the acquisition of three new prospecting licences ("PL's") to build further the Company's ground portfolio.

The acquisition of the new PL's follows completion of Phase 1 of the airborne electromagnetic (AEM) survey over the company's Kalahari Suture Zone ("KSZ") Project. Based on the Company's previous work, management believes it is strategically important that the Company secure additional ground to cover the key areas of prospectivity.

Highlights

-- On 15 October 2018 the Company announced completion of Phase 1 of the AEM survey which has identified 26 conductive anomalies;

-- Following completion of the survey, the Company's 100% owned subsidiary in Botswana has now been granted three additional PL's, extending the group's ground holding along the KSZ by a further 2,300km(2) .

-- Two of the three new PL's are contiguous and immediately adjoin the northern area covered by Phase 1 of the AEM survey;

-- The Company now holds 15 PL's that cover approximately 80% of the KSZ, a 450 km long magnetic anomaly and where Kavango is exploring for Ni-Cu-PGE rich sulphide orebodies;

-- The Company's 15 PL's on the KSZ Project now cover a total of 9,231 km(2) .

Michael Foster, Chief Executive Officer of Kavango Resources, commented:

"Extending our land position to a total of 9,231 km(2) following the assessment of our recent work provides the Company with an important strategic ground holding on the highly prospective KSZ.

It is worth emphasising again that the KSZ is a 450km long under-explored magnetic feature of geological significance in the south west of Botswana.

Results of our on-going exploration programme in the KSZ area will be provided to the market in the near future, as they become available."

"In parallel, an IP survey is also underway at the Ditau prospect, which forms part of the KSZ project, where earlier exploration by the Company identified coincident geophysical and base metal anomalies; subject to results, drilling could commence before the end of the year".

Michael Foster, Chief Executive Officer of Kavango commented:

"We are pleased to be able to report that the initial survey results show that various VTEM anomalies coincide with significant geochemical anomalies.

Priority targets are now being followed up on the ground with CSAMT resistivity and Induced Polarisation (IP) geophysical surveys. Similar work has commenced at the Ditau licence which forms part of the KSZ project.

We believe the under-explored area of the KSZ holds potential for the discovery of world class base and precious metals deposits and we look forward to announcing further results in due course".

KAVANGO RESOURCES PLC (“Kavango̶1; or the “Company”;)

is a mineral exploration company focused on Botswana. Its shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange (Standard List) with ticker KAV.L. At Admission on 31 July 2018 it raised gross proceeds of £1.5m.

Kavango has been set up by an experienced team of geologists and a geophysicist with a history of exploration discoveries in southern Africa. The focus in Botswana is centred on three projects, which are prospective for copper, nickel and PGE metals.

The Kalahari Suture Zone Project and the Ditau Project cover 12 Prospecting Licences (6,928km2) in the southwest of Botswana. The targets are nickel-copper-PGE deposits associated with a 450km long structural feature thought to extend deep into the earth’s crust.

The strategy of the Company is to repeat the successes of past discoveries through the discovery of world class deposits and the creation of value added for the benefit of all shareholders.

THE DITAU CAMP PROJECT (“DITAU”)

Within the KSZ Project, Kavango’s geologists have identified a 7km long magnetic body above which a strong geochemical anomaly has been identified together with a coincident gravity anomaly. Ground geophysics and detailed geochemistry are currently in progress.

THE KALAHARI SUTURE ZONE PROJECT (“KSZ”)

Kavango’s main focus in the southwest of Botswana is the 450 x 50km magnetic anomaly known as the Kalahari Suture Zone.

Analysis of previously drilled core suggests that the magnetic anomaly is due to mafic intrusions, many of which are considered to be feeder zones to the vast basalt lava flows which once covered much of southern Africa. These intrusions display distinct similarities to the feeder zones that host the giant Norilsk deposits in Siberia. Some of the deposits are at surface. The project area covers about two thirds of the KSZ as well as unexplained magnetic anomalies on its eastern flank.
