Excellent presentation on Stockbox. I know he has annoyed some shareholders recently but Ben really is a cut above at presenting. He apologised for the poor comms earlier this year and said lesson learnt.

Big update on KSZ is to come, expected fairly soon now. Sounds like it will combine all sorts of data: petrology, assay, TDEM, DHEM, gravity, AMT. There was a hint that they are particularly excited about the Proterozoic (or so I read it - anyone disagree?). General tone very positive

PP - "less enthused" maybe but I think that might perhaps sound too downbeat! I would describe it as "measured"!

I thought it was a good joint presentation. We just have to be patient as the technical work on the ground (and in particular its assessment) comes to fruition.

There we a couple of mentions of "partners" (not necessarily a major at this stage) to reimburse earlier KAV costs and to shoulder some ongoing exploration/development costs.

A major report is due (BT would not be drawn on timing) on KSZ activities (including assays, petrology, TDEM etc etc).

JB still very positive about KSZ.

A very good listen on the stockbox premier. Well done to Mark for setting that up.
Take away for me is that there is no need for funding and when the time does arise they will be looking at various ways.
Looking to get third party involvement in the ksz - hurray.

And Ben held his hands up to getting it wrong with the news blackout. Yes you did but fair play for admitting it.

I don't remember an RNS which stated that samples have been sent for assay. I think they were only mentioned in videos and Twitter etc.

It’s a concern assay results are taking so long.
I have had dialogue with a CEO of another junior explorer who stated assays should not take any longer than 4 months from the date of submission, most of the backlog from Covid has reduced if not gone.

I suspect the lack of assay results is because they are not positive?
Is that a fair assumption?
Kavango is not alone, other companies have outstanding assay results that are long over due.

There's area A which finished mid Sept and area B including the last B1 drill completed 28 Feb. It wasn't clear when area A was submitted as BTs comms were contradictory. Visually TA2DD002 looked quite good if the photo was representative, it was shiny and BT got very excited. The B1 assay will be months away perhaps June though it may not show much as it missed either target. The previous drill KSZDD001 will have clipped a feeder zone and they showed a photo with a 1cm bleb and disseminated sulphide which looked like it could be in the 1-2% territory, encouraging although very deep.

Power Metal Resources* (POW LN) 1.3p, Mkt Cap £19m – Drilling commences at Ditau targeting rare earth carbonatite intrusive

Kavango Resources (KAV LN) 2.95p, Mkt cap £12m

“The Ditau Camp Project is held by Botswana based Kanye Resources Pty Limited, which is a 50/50 joint-venture partnership between Power Metal and Kavango – who are the operators”

Power Metal & Kavango report that diamond drilling has commenced at the i10 Target, market by a geophysical anomaly that is 2.2km in diameter and under an estimated 120m of sand cover.

Drilling will test whether the Target's geophysical anomaly is caused by a carbonatite intrusive, which are the world’s primary source of rare earth elements.

Kanye has successfully completed aeromagnetic and AMT inversions in order to define the target on a regional scale.

Based on the magnetic signature, the Target has concentric "ring-like" lithological zonation, typical of carbonatite formations.

The first drillhole at i10, hole DITDD003, commenced drilling on 15 April 2022, which is targeting the core of the magnetic high and has a target depth of 400m.

The plan is to drill up to six ~400m deep diamond drillholes at Ditau, including 2 drillholes at three separate magnetic anomalies, including i10.
