11/3/2021 12:35 | Mmmmmm so the Chinese gave the world coronavirus now they are in a very good position to dominate it without one shot being fired. With its acquisitions of battery metal supply and processing capabilities, China doesn’t just want a robust domestic market, it intends to dominate the world market. They have the opportunity here to end up with a double-win, which is to reduce nickel prices for long enough to put off Western investment in new nickel production so that Western manufacturers will have no choice but to be utterly reliant on Chinese materials and Chinese batteries. China wants to be the “Silicon Valley” or modern Detroit for batteries, electric vehicles and the related supply chain as a whole. | grahamwales
11/3/2021 12:30 | Interesting read guys. Seems the recent drop in Nickel price is China trying to influence the market because they are low on Nickel sulphide. (Surprise surprise) Cut a long story short if the were to refine Nickel laterite into material suitable for EV batteries. However if they went through this process not only would it increase carbon emissions great than petrol or diesel cars production of the higher quality nickel would negate any increase in the sales value. | grahamwales

10/3/2021 16:03 | Mind my ignorance SirIan, haven't posted or been visibly active on this bb, have you both been invested here a while? | inthemix
10/3/2021 15:03 | Also if Nickel is that close to the surface there would be no stripping costs involved. | grahamwales
10/3/2021 14:49 | Then there's existing access and in country infrastructure ... pretty good for haneti. | sirianbotham
10/3/2021 14:48 | Tesla high nickel battery news. | grahamwales
10/3/2021 14:48 | For example trenching in one area back in 1931 found some small deposits at 7%. The recent drill is looking for near surface deposits 50 holes at total 2000m is 40m per hole. Open pit mining is more cost effective and can be fine down to 300m. So a 1% grade at 30m depth is better than 3% at 400m depending on how much at each depth. | sirianbotham

10/3/2021 14:01 | As for grades kabanga has an average 2.62% nickel. Kat have stated grades upto 14% identified in the past. A lot of variables | sirianbotham
10/3/2021 13:52 | Kat own 65% of haneti. I'm not sure if the diamond drill costs are covered in the last cash raise (jan 21) but if not If we are liable if 65% of the cost. What's the value of a world class nickel deposit in a country that's already got the worlds largest deposit at kabanga under development! | sirianbotham
10/3/2021 13:32 | Sirian How do you see it going? | grahamwales
10/3/2021 13:31 | Inthemix Hard question to answer as I doubt any resource information will be known at this stage. Anything from 1%+ nickel sulphide will be good imo. If they can get to 3p it should start triggering more warrant conversions which will in turn pay for diamond drilling and eventually prove up some resources. That stage should attract some of the larger companies or Chinese interest with them taking a % in Haneti for further development and drilling. | grahamwales
10/3/2021 11:24 | If the Nickel percentage is as good as they think it is, what sort of price are we looking at? GrahamWales you seem like the top poster here, any thoughts? | inthemix
10/3/2021 08:34 | Will be interesting to see if more warrants get converted over the next week or so. Bloody insiders converting before Haneti no doubt. | grahamwales
09/3/2021 18:20 | Yes a lot exercised there recently before they expired in May and above current SP | sirianbotham
