I don't know why this one gets hammered... there is a complete wrong understanding of Kaspi and it's business it seems. For me this is a bargain at current levels.

See these quotes from yesterday's earnings release:

- January events in Kazakhstan are not expected to have any material impact on Kaspi.kz’s 2022 financials.
- We have no meaningful exposure to sanctioned Russian financial institutions.
- We believe our market capitalisation materially undervalues Kaspi.kz and so are in the process of considering a GDR buyback program. We currently have capital up to KZT86 billion that can be returned to our shareholder. We will determine the split between buybacks and dividend, based upon market conditions. Over the medium-term, we remain committed to taking steps to ensure Kaspi.kz is listed on the most appropriate exchange for the next stage of its growth trajectory.

Had this on my watchlist for 9 months ans wanted to buy then. Contacted Barclays and Selftrade (iii) and had much the same reply.Wasnt really happy that I saw it move from 80 -140 Not being able to sell this swiftly quickly, now makes me sit a bit easier.

I'm afraid we're unable to add Kaspi.kz (KSPIq) to our platform. This stock doesn't settle within CREST.

CREST is a UK-based Central Securities Depository that holds UK equities and UK gilts as well as Irish equities and other international securities. CREST allows shareholders and bondholders to hold assets in a dematerialised stock, i.e. electronic form, rather than holding physical share certificates.

If a stock such as this doesn't settle within this system, we're not able to offer it for investment on our platform.

Frustrating to see it bounce hard and not be able to do a thing about it! Remains on my watchlist. I might in fact contact IG and request that they list the shares!

I was going to have a pop at this but its not even recognised by co. name or epic on the HL platform, shame as I dont want to be restricted to illiquid phone dealing. Bought more Kazak STCM instead

Every crisis presents opportunities.

This e-payments and banking group was growing rapidly.

The current turmoil is hammering the share price.

It will correct very quickly once order is restored.
