They discovered our green diamond

Karelian Diamond Resources plc (“KarelianR21;) (AIM: KDR, ESM: KDRI), is pleased to announce that it has received results from sampling undertaken by the Geological Survey of Finland (“GTK”) on behalf of the Company. A diamond was discovered in one of seven samples from the Kuhmo region of Eastern Finland.
The diamond is a clear, pale green dodecahedron and measures 0.7 x 0.75 x 0.7 mm. To put the rarity of this discovery in context, ODM Laboratory* has processed more than 50,000 exploration till samples and has recovered less than 10 naturally occurring diamonds. This is a very rare and significant discovery.
This is significant because the diamond discovery allied with high concentrations of Kimberlitic Indicator Minerals (“KIMs”) discovered in the area strongly suggest that a diamondiferous kimberlite is present.
The KIMs include 13 purple to red peridotitic garnets (G9/10 Cr-pyrope), 3 orange mantle garnets, 2 Cr- diopside and 178 chromite grains in the 0.25 to 0.5 mm size range, plus 1 purple to red peridotitic garnet (G9/10 Cr-pyrope) and 6 chromite grains in the 0.5 to 1.0 mm size range.

The Company has agreed with the Lender to vary the terms of the Convertible Loan Note

such that the conversion price of the Convertible Loan Note is amended from 10 pence per

Ordinary Share to 4 pence per Ordinary Share (the “Revised Conversion Price”). The

Revised Conversion Price represents an 81% premium on the Company’s closing mid-market

share price on 19 December 2022.

Following the variation to the existing loan agreement as detailed above, the Lender has

immediately exercised its conversion rights and submitted a notice of conversion to the

Company in relation to the Convertible Loan Note (“Conversion”). At the Revised

Conversion Price, the loan and all accrued interest (£138,000 as at 10 December 2022) is

convertible into 3,450,000 new Ordinary Shares (the “Conversion Shares”).

Following the issue of the Conversion Shares, Mr Fredrik Björnberg is expected to have a

beneficial interest in a total of 6,450,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing

7.63% of the enlarged issued share capital of the Company on Admission

Mr. Björnberg qualified in geology at the University of Helsinki and is a member of the Finnish Association of Mining and Metallurgical engineers. He has also been a member of the Canadian Prospectors and Developers Association, as well as a member of CIM.
The Lahtojoki diamond deposit was originally discovered by Malmikaivos Oy founded in the 1940s by the family

I had a small top-up this morning even though I said I wouldn't buy any more. A nice round number for me now so i'll leave it at that. I'll sit back and wait now. Hopefully not as long as I have since 1st purchasing these shares! Bring on the next update and hopefully the shares won't gently slide lower until then. The 20,000 shown is my buy not a sell. One things for sure we aren't going to be mining any diamonds copper nickel or platinum kdr will be sold assuming success on one or more of its licences.So where is the Finnish line ?My guess is sometime in 2025 a bidder has to know what the company is worth which I reckon will take at least a year so my guess is 2025 ?

Becomes an auto pilot syndrome.
Though experience , you instantly know if what you have or in simple terms is it good or not ?
I note from all staff at ODM
Most of them are seasoned professionals with 25years plus and some 50 year
They know a good sample, just looking at it .
Wonder if they called the prof and said, these samples look world class at first sight.
Hence the interview??🤔

I was going to have a small top up on Friday was waiting for a seller to dump 200K so I could buy .Never mind don't think you will be able to buy many under 5P on Monday morning potentially sat on one of the worlds largest Nickel Copper and Platinum deposits .
