Steve is one of the very big hitters on this BB and am sure he knows a thing or two about KDR considering the very large size of his holding.

These companies attract gamblers. Gamblers throw good money after bad.

Embarrassingly for me I defended Conroy to the hilt for around 2 years.

Why didn't you average down o wise one?
You seem to have all the answers now !!!.......when you could have made a good few quid back on 21st of December 2017!!!
Better luck next time......

Same situation here as with Conroy's other (and once much more prospective) salary-maker.In CGNR's case a 23 year period applies, in KDR's case I think it's 5 years (stand corrected) during which my next paragraph is relevant:

Every new 3 month period, 6 month period, new calendar year (take your pick) has been suggested to be 'pivotal' ("no, really this time it is pivotal"). Also, "people getting in now are lucky and have a great chance of making money".

I truly understand these sentiments especially the old "this can't go any lower." When I got into CGNR 4 and a half years ago many regulars on these BBS were distraught at the utter decimation of the share price from £11 (eleven pound) to 2.1 pence. I thought there's no way this could go any lower and although my choice to invest was not influenced by rampers they were also on the CGNR bb assuring everyone the share price indeed couldn't go any lower and that "the next few months were'pivotal' for CGNR. I'm now down around 80/90% on my 2.1p investment price (there was a huge share consolidation in between).

Embarrassingly for me I defended Conroy to the hilt for around 2 years against all nay-sayers until I finally copped on that CGNR is the MOST blatantly obvious lifestyle company on AIM. I see KDR the same way now.

Its the only way to keep the lights on here DP and for shareholders to keep their exposure open to kdr prospects.
Either that or its going bust because the appetite for another placing will be non existent and if there was at what price 2p ??That sounds great for existing shareholders not !
Be advised Prof wont let this go bust so whats the alternative ?

RBonnier....that isn't as easy to do, as it is for anybody to say it, especially after the recent Capital reorganisation and share consolidation in KDR. Not saying it can't, or won't happen, but the logistics behind such a move would make it quite a difficult scenario. Which bag has that idea fallen out of then? To some, that would not be a positive, especially if you had a percentage holding in KDR!

The 4 main shareholders know whats going on why would they continue to buy what looks like a dead duck .Blind faith ???? Sure may be 1 sucker would but all 4 dont think so .
Sir ian is right they will struggle to raise again but they wont be raising again as this is merging back with CGNR to keep the lights on.Thats good for shareholders as CGNR has a far bigger following and is more credible in the market and is profs baby and wont have any problem raising funds .This will happen very soon within 3 months you heard it here first thought you guys needed a positive here so ive let it out the bag.

No progress? How do you think they have come up with the drill locations for Kuhmo? Pin the tail on the donkey? Feels like that sometimes and I may well end up being the ass. We shall see.

Clearly not drinking the right tea .....You only need to look at the share price to see that. They'll struggle to raise again. Next six months and next set of results pivotal.

Thanks your post re delays, RBonnier. Makes sense. Midsummer's day yesterday. Hakf a season lost.

Also diamonddog's comment re director dealings must be right.

All up, no progress from last year. All now depending on a quick, lucky find?

If you read between the lines of this rns then r and k materials may be analysed in a different lab to l. That seems to be a running theme. I think the extent of Rios involvement has however been over stated by many here recently. There does not appear to have been quiet progress proving up under confidentiality terms and based on the directors buys in the placing there can not have been anything substantial not in the public domain. Shaping up like cgnr sadly

Can't do owt without cash and drilling in winter is pretty hard. It was clear in the placing rns what they wanted the cash for and this last one just confirms they are kicking off the work. It's painfully slow at times I agree.
