DB - read the accounts fully for the last full year and half year and what’s been spent from that fund raise....you’ll understand what I’m saying then.

Never been a mention in the past as I’ve said above re major work programme....but it’s been full steam ahead for six months and I mean full steam......that work is certainly not cheap especially the depths reached these days.

Totally different ballgame now, folk have had many chances.

A most thoughtful post, KS, for which many thanks. As I have consistently posted worries about precisely the point you emphasize (major works envisaged, no cash)may I say I completely agree with your excellent summary.

I hope you are right in your strongly implied conclusion that the works are likely going on, financed by somebody else (eg RTZ). The only other alternative is that things are completely stalled. I tend still to lean that way if only in that were your scenario actually in place, I should have thought KDR would have had to advise the market.

Your point re the tight market seems to me central. Not much stock available, a new declarable shareholding emerges after buying activity (and two other large shareholders have recently increased their holdings)and buyers follow their lead. Result a sharp move in the offer price (perhaps significantly the bid remaining fairly static, the spread widening. Rather like CGNR after their last fund raising - the price having largely come back since?

I hope good news imminent (perhaps after close today, even). But on balance I remain cynical.

Good post Keyser, but let's not forget that the share consolidation, and earlier capital reorganisation, were done to facilitate any funding requirements going forward. There is still plenty of time for our Board to raise capital through a placing (or other means) to help finance any further works. Yes, there are plenty of clues out there, it just seems we have a bit of an Inspector Clouseau running the investigation!!

I think next week or so there will at least be news about paying for license, maybe Arctic are the rocket up us to move things on as Professor and RTZ will be well aware of the other parties wanting a piece of Finland!
They will all want the kudos of being the first diamond mine outside of Russia.
Hopefully government pushing things on too. xx

Lahtojoki payment must be due soon, The planning permission is in place and the Finnish government are allowing KDR take it forward under the old legislation as they want first diamond mine in Europe and the obvious tax benefits that will bring in. KDR obviously have very good relationship with government as all the govt needed was for kdr to show serious intent. Will not take long in theory to get Lahtojoki up and running. How rich is the adjacent land and are the financial means available? I suspect we will find out soon.

The current share price may be down to Beaufort manipulation. Short positions and 150 lines of stock with discrepancies affecting 1000s client accounts.

SpencerT, we haven't had FD for a while now. It all points towards one thing. We don't have the cash either, again this points towards one thing. How much longer before KDR decide to put their shareholders out of their misery. Can't be long now as pressure will mount on them to do so.

Yes G5,I can't understand why more wasn't made of Greeny.
It was quite blasé so you could take from that the Bod are of the opinion they don't need to sing and dance about it!
I wonder how many other outfits will be scrambling to get into Finland? It does seem to have attracted a lot of the top people in the diamond mining industry.
Right place, right time, right product.
I don't think it's going to be a case of"woops I didn't see that coming", more a case of "bloody hell, why didn't I see that coming".

Spencertracy, I suspect greeny d made all the difference. Wonder what will happen here when folk realise who is behind the intensive exploration programme. It will have to come out, and then shareholders will figure out what else they are behind. That should make for an interesting day for the KDR share price.

My dreaded spectors of death are tonight preparing for the battle for the domination of the world as they prepare to defeat the Gauntlet of Thanos and turn them to dust followed by turning kdr back to its coffin after todays attempt to rise from the ashes .
My deadly skeletons are preparing to spend the whole night in the sauna at david lloyd where they will emerge first thing tomorrow morning ready to commence battle and defeat the dreaded Thanos !!
