52-week high is £3 10. A successful hostile takeover would need to be above that level in my view.

interesting, i wonder if there's a chance to make a quick buck here. any takeover would likely have to be above £3-3.20 a share as takeover premiums tend to be averages over the last few months.

MNG which went ex-dividend last week, look better value on a 9% dividend yield which is actually increasing dividend payments.

Better options for investors elsewhere Baillie Gifford, Polar Capital, Fundsmith offerings etc is reason outflows are grim.

Why is continued outflow bad?

markets don't like continued outflows. eps down to only 8.7p which makes the valuation look toppy. needs to be on a higher yield given lack of growth. can see a retest of 250p or even 200p

2wild, agree it's a decent ordinary yield but this is from their 2020 report regarding future specials: "Following the payment of this special dividend, the Board has concluded that we will resume additional returns of capital on a less frequent basis. It is our intention to consider the next additional return no earlier than for the year ending 31 December 2022"

Just calculating the yield with and without the special, which may or may not be paid again next year. Either way JUP are paying fantastic dividends which are most likely sustainable.

Been watching these for several months now. Decided to buy today at 255p, on a core dividend yield of 6.7% and 7.9% including 3p special.

Net outflows drop significantly and hope it will turn to be half and then positive in subsequent quarters.
