I suspect that the uptrend from December has now been broken. With a marked increase in shorts last month and a sell recommendation in the IC today, further downside seems imminent. I will hedge my buy here with a temporary short as I suspect they will overshoot on the downside then recover in the next few years.

It went down below 500 because it went ex div the other day re the 25p Special Dividend. Do the maths and take it from there.

I bought in here recently as it caught my eye as being oversold and a good dividend coming. There is a good Broker’s downgrade to sell which I read which makes the case that outflows from some bond funds will increase this year and are not factored in by JUP as much as they should be. So there are not unfounded fears out there and I will proceed with caution , but overall I think the risks are measured and outweighed by the potential upside.
