ADVFN NewsWire (15:06) - John Lusty, the Ely-based national food marketing and distribution group, has won three contracts worth a total of some £2,750,000. In line with its planned expansion into the local-authority home-delivered meals sector, it has clinched initial three-year contracts to supply and deliver frozen meals to elderly residents in East London, Surrey and the North Midlands.

The contracts will be serviced by the group's Home Farm Foods Limited subsidiary, which operates a home-ordering and next-day delivery service through a national network of 80 franchised distributors.

Home Far Foods is seeing an increasing level of orders placed by on-line shoppers for its range of frozen meals and desserts since launching its on-line shopping website, www.homefarmfoods.com, last June and as a result of its ability to deliver internet-placed orders on a next-day basis through its established national franchisee network.

Rather than start a new thread, I've used the old one... Could anyone enlighten me as to why these continue to fall, I can't see any reason other than the sector generally seems to be loosing some ground? Have I missed something?

I have a small holding in these, I notice on AFX that their Exec chairman Charles Cecil has resigned and Don Davenport of Granada has taken over. Just a couple of questions. Does anyone know the reason for his resignation, was it planned?. I've also no Info on Don Davenport, has anyone got a view on his track record? Thanks in advance Clive
