17/11/2023 13:16 | I suspect that cash cushion will start to get eaten, just so long as it's used wisely for production capacity, and not used for fancy offices/cars etc. Get the thing into decent profit with visible growth, before doing the usual corporate swagger stuff. | lefrene
16/11/2023 12:31 | Given that breakeven has been reached, the EV here with all that cash is barely £10M. That seems far too low just for the IP that the company has, IMO. | cyberbub
16/11/2023 11:44 | I guess the market wants to see news, and not willing to tie up capital whilst waiting for the paint to dry. Come the news come the volume and price action. I guess ITX is dependent upon the USA market seeing a long term bright future for the technology. In the past this sort of high tech business would have got run up to silly levels, but so many have been burnt chasing rainbows, that the word PROFIT has come back into fashion. IPGroup seem to think there's something valuable to be had here, and I guess they get to see behind the scenes. Given the number of patents and products on shelves, it at least is not a piece of theatre, but an actual business with valuable IP, and proven products. Now it needs to scale up, hopefully with a large volume 'must have' essential product. I'm giving it another year, to see what that £10 million was for. | lefrene
16/11/2023 10:37 | I appreciate that there's been a consolidation, but the value traded every day is pathetic, less than £5k most days... | cyberbub
16/11/2023 09:00 | Why is ITX so severely illiquid these days? | cyberbub
13/11/2023 08:27 | Yes indeed. The giddy heights of thruppence beckons. | ohojim
13/11/2023 08:18 | Paying over the offer price now.Looks like the sellers are exhausted and this can start to recover now. | parob
06/11/2023 16:41 | Yes.My rose tinted glases are getting harder to see through. | geraldus
06/11/2023 16:23 | Has a summary of recent director buys and anything of interest behind a paywall.Possibly nothing new for the diehards. | geraldus
06/11/2023 16:01 | Thank you Geraldus, perhaps that explains the uptick today. Presumably an optimistic article. If only we had a time scale! Exponential sales growth along with exponential profits growth is the message we want! :¬) | lefrene
06/11/2023 15:59 | Any chance of a potted summary ? Thanks in advance | wheeze
06/11/2023 15:39 | UK Investor Magazine has an article on ITX today by Andrew Hore.'An Opportunity'.Premium subcription though. | geraldus
03/11/2023 10:26 | If you look at IP Group's share price performance you will see that they have a track record of backing losers. I wouldn't therefore take that fact that they bunged £10 million into this shambles as a good sign. It is just as likely that they have merely kept a dead duck on life support for a while longer.... | dexdringle
03/11/2023 10:10 | One can dream that they have a blockbuster product under covers soon to be released and the £10mil is needed to be able to crank up production swiftly without borrowing! They must have sold IP Group a plan to get that useful lump of dosh. Or are they merely expecting those turnips in Brussels to shortly ban phosphates across the board? I suspect that won't happen until Mr Unilever has got all his ducks lined up, and has hired enough 'consultants' from among the well upholstered afore mentioned turnips. But yes, a cross section of the board buying their own shares, would seem no bad thing. | lefrene
31/10/2023 10:00 | There ought to be interesting things on the horizon after raising 10m. I didn't find their reasons for why they needed so much, and how they're going to spend it, convincing. Second homes? Swimming pools? Racehorses? Moats with duck houses? | mr macgregor
30/10/2023 11:24 | Good to see a more meaningful share purchase from the CTO. With four share purchases from four different directors in a matter of days the intent is presumably (given the modest amounts involved) to give a co-ordinated signal to shareholders that interesting things are on the horizon. Hopefully :o)) | rivaldo
30/10/2023 08:24 | A little under £25k, a modest but meaningful vote in the future prospects, while the price is on the floor. | lefrene
30/10/2023 07:50 | "Itaconix (AIM: ITX) (OTCQB: ITXXF), a leading innovator in sustainable plant-based polymers used to decarbonise everyday consumer products, announces that Yvon Durant, Chief Technology Officer of the Company, purchased 17,300 ordinary shares in the Company on 27 October 2023 at $1.70 per ordinary share. Following this purchase, Yvon Durant holds 127,789 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.95% per cent. of the Company's issued share capital." A not inconsiderable purchase out of his own money. His interests as cofounder of the company seem to be well aligned with us poor shareholders. | pugugly
27/10/2023 19:57 | TicTac, I foolishly have sat through the same experience. The thing is just about to clear breakeven or perhaps a small profit, The IP is planet saving, it would seem to be cheaper than existing ingredients, they do have products on the shelves, and seem to be growing their offering. But somehow the market is either missing them, or facing such a meltdown that potential investors are going into hiding until the storm overhead has passed. | lefrene
27/10/2023 18:23 | I guess nobody thinks the IP is that amazing as the company could easily be bought. Having sat on 10x profits and not sold I'm obviously disappointed. I find it hard to believe that the customer list that they have won't lead to at least something though. | tictac
27/10/2023 16:35 | $10m in cash at half year. No real cash burn. Amazing IP. Market cap of $20m. So the business essentially worth $10m. Does not make sense except for the dreadful gross margin. | purchaseatthetop
27/10/2023 16:01 | Might as well mark it down to 100p and finish the salami slicing. | lefrene
27/10/2023 13:31 | Blushed and squirming dexdringle! But I'm happy to know that Mr Shaw and the team are being kept in the style to which they are accustomed lol. Seriously you'd think they would be able to sell the planet friendly attributes of their product. The 'green' element of the end products must surely enable the manufacturer and retailer to add a decent premium to their offerings. Getting phosphates out of the supply chain actually is very good for the planet, help kill off those algae blooms caused by field run off from fertilizers. If they have some blockbuster product waiting in the wings, then they're doing an awfully good job of keeping it secret! | lefrene
26/10/2023 19:47 | Is it me or is this getting embarrassing now ? These have halved in 10 months and nothing has changed. | dexdringle
26/10/2023 19:19 | Thus far it completely escapes me as to why they went to all the hassle of getting on to the OTC. I get the impression that now they have the dosh to play with, they're not the least bothered about building the profile of the company. Is anyone in there paid for PR? The message should be 'green' planet friendly solutions for everyday problems. I guess they feel safer in white coats in the lab with some warm cocoa? | lefrene |
