16/5/2018 08:19 | RNS Number : 1974O Itaconix PLC 16 May 2018 Itaconix plc ("Itaconix" or the "Company") Itaconix and AkzoNobel move from the technical evaluation phase to defining a joint marketing effort for Itaconix bio-based chelates Itaconix is pleased to announce that following a successful technical and regulatory evaluation, AkzoNobel's Chelates' business has formally notified Itaconix of its intention to enter into a joint marketing effort related to Itaconix's innovative bio-based chelates for use in the consumer and industrial detergents and cleaners markets. This latest development follows from the initial announcement in September 2017 that AkzoNobel's Specialty Chemicals business would commence the technical evaluation of Itaconix's bio-based chelates. Although commercial details remain to be finalised, both parties target to complete final agreements before the end of 2018. The goal is to establish a strong multi-year relationship to deliver Itaconix's innovative bio-based chelates to customers worldwide, thereby supporting the development of high performance, sustainable, consumer products using Itaconix technology. | someuwin
16/5/2018 08:18 | Good news this morning, patience will be rewarded hopefully 🤞 | battlebus2
16/4/2018 09:56 | A cynic could read those results as the company having spent £4 million to increase sales by £11,000....... | dexdringle
03/4/2018 10:29 | Indeed kinbasket. I wish I’d the courage to buy more. | battlebus2
03/4/2018 10:20 | A quick look at the trade data suggests there has been a bit of tax loss selling. Someone dumped nearly a million shares at the end of last week (marked as a buy but looks like a sale). If people have lost interest and are dumping a few into a zero bid situation for tax reasons then the price will crater. It shows how inefficient small cap markets can be. If you believe the story it's a buying opportunity. | kinbasket
03/4/2018 10:13 | Only if they are well bid. | kinbasket
03/4/2018 10:12 | ...on that basis, if there are no sellers it should rise on no volume ???? | dexdringle
03/4/2018 10:11 | No bid. Doesn't matter who holds what. Ultimately it's buyers who determine price in this situation. If there are no buyers the price will crater on next to no volume. | kinbasket
03/4/2018 08:12 | Hold on. If 75% of the shares are held by institutions, and the remainder are held by people almost all of whom will have paid 25p plus what, physically, has caused the share to drop from high 20p's to 5p ? It can't be selling pressure. It can't be shorting. It can't be market makers marking them down for a laugh. It can't be "in anticipation of a funding announcement" as that may have been a placing at 15p a share which clearly wouldn't be feasible now. In short, who benefits from the share price having plummeted and how did they make that happen ? | dexdringle
29/3/2018 14:58 | Possibly holding it back until they tie up a few ends and announce them together? | battlebus2
29/3/2018 14:35 | Should be due news here. | geraldus
29/3/2018 13:15 | Shrout the story is still intact albeit a lot slower than invisaged. What has caused the fall is anyone’s guess likely fundraising. With these recovery stocks things tend to get worse before they get better which is why the rewards can be much greater than normal stocks. As ever not all will make it, this is my worst performing stock out of 40+ and a smaller holding. | battlebus2
29/3/2018 13:09 | 8p maybe a gd price if it goes belly up | jon123
29/3/2018 13:03 | Shocking performance..... The fact that the directors are not filling their boots probably tells you all you need to know. My average 'in' price here is 28p so I am 80% down in under 12 months...... | dexdringle
29/3/2018 12:00 | Yes, not looking good at this moment. I should have followed my charting instincts and sold up when support went at just under 20p. Ended up selling half my holding at 13p. What I have left is barely worth worrying about so I'll hang on for the hoped for recovery. Maybe bbus's belief (dream?) that this could recover as fast as it's fallen will eventually come true. | shrout |
