Not sure if there actually was much uncertainty. The outcome as predicted.
"South Africa's African National Congress (ANC) has won a commanding victory, gaining 63% of the vote, with about 80% of the results in."

I presume that the share price fall in last couple of days is directly related to uncertainty about the outcome of today's South African general election?

It wouldn't be in production even without a strike - it isn't built yet!

Meanwhile Anglo American has risen 16% since January 1. So not convinced it is the political scene that is causing this to languish. It's just the nature of start up mines to take for ever to attract fund managers until after the heavy lifting has clearly been done. Plenty of scope for things to go the way of KMR - capex overspend, timetable overruns, greedy directors, punishing lenders - although management is everything and Clark does not suffer bad management, hence worth hanging in here. But it will never be as quick as we'd like.

IMO it will get much worse than this.

A guy's entitled to pay his taxes out of option shares on exercise without causing a fuss. After all they're part of his salary and he pays taxes on that.

Agree, tanelorn. Been looking to buy in for a while but it is just this sort of thing that puts me off. Gets them for a penny and can't wait to offload for ten times as much. Doesn't suggest to me that he has any confidence that they will be 15p or 20p in the future. Otherwise why not just take a small personal loan out to cover the liability and await the future appreciation in the shares.

Director sells a small amount to off-set a little tax. Poor show!, how much was the tax liability?, and yet happy to have a director sale reported. Hmm, not happy with the lack of awareness.!!

Or, maybe he sees' no growth for a while. Hey, what the hell, i'll sell some shares, sod public perception.

Just like Amerisur this is a great long term investment. Patience as always is required. Until volume of shares traded substanially increases the share price will remain at current levels. Nevertheless Im happy with the progress so far made and have every confidence that management will deliver increased shareholder value over the medium/long term

Yep, too far ahead for the inpatient.

Next good long term investment, i'm in for a few years, probably.

Bought a few weeks ago.

Was considering buying this yesterday as well based on the TS but glad I didn't in view of today's fall which seems rather surprising. maybe the market doesn't believe the forecast EBITDA or that it is just too far ahead in the future.

Brief mention in the Daily Mail: "Pig iron developer Ironveld jumped 2.12p or 24pc to 11p following a positive trading update. The company is currently in advanced discussions with banks and other financial institutions to raise cash to help fund a portion of the £36m of capital expenditure."

this could be the start of another flagpole up to 16p+, having broken the down trend of the last two peaks. BUt then again, it could just be a continuation of an extended triangular formation going nowhere much. Anyway nice to be back in +ve territory again.

You can buy 100K @11.25p on-line just like that, so obviously not too short of stock.

Seems my chart has been blown out of the water but think I'll wait some more - big gap up this morning.

I'm not in this as losing money elsewhere so can't invest but I had the pleasure of speaking to Dr Cox at the Shares event a couple of months back and he was very impressive. Clearly very experienced and not prone to hyperbole. The numbers today do the talking on their own.

I do - but I do not know what they intend to do. I have simply invested on a whim because of the management team - but I dont know what it is they are planning to do with it. In my mind there has to be a connection with AMER and IRON - but !!!!
